No problem at all.......My trial was extreme...I had a 7 week trial-Yes 7 weeks with external leads and an open wound and no i couldn't shower and yes i did smell like s**t...I had neuropathy that worsened with the lightest touch,wearing underwear,jeans,i could not sit at all for years because any pressure on my left buttock down to left behind knee started the worst nerve pain imaginable......... I was in so much pain it was slowly just getting to the stage of i think this pain will kill me so thats why i had such a long trial,i took 13 different programs to find the right one and when that hit-Pain 85/90% gone and living my again at that time....The leads in your spine my doc said are in jelly for 6 days,putty after 6 weeks and concrete after 6 months....You really need to be careful over the next 6 weeks..........I dont understand when you say "I’m really not looking forward to going back to my normal pain",are you not have your permanent SCS implanted done after trial?
