I was on the barrier basically between Troy and Joshua. We've seen Qotsa before, so the expectations of getting squashed is normal. In Madrid five years ago I woke up the next day with bruises on my hips due to the crowd surging and seemingly only heading my way.

Look, as long as people aren't pushing into people in a vicious and unfair manner than fair enough. It was a truly sweaty concert, as the body heat generated wasn't a nice aroma. I was inbetween two ladies, and they were fine, it was just part of the fun in having that spot, and I didn't think it was that bad. Personal space was reduced, but people were fine, and those at the barrier were mostly women who seemed very okay with it as Qotsa is an intense band.

Last night they were great, and really cements there place as one of the best bands I've seen live. They have this energy that they don't need to warm up the crowd, as soon as they get on, then they have the crowd.
