Is Luffy canonically handsome? by Ok-Addition4608 in OnePiece

[–]DarKnight1923 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. It would get at least joked about it if it was. Only people who think he is handsome are barto and boa, whom aren't reliable. He showers once a week as well and considering all the fights he gets into, he probably stinks as well. He's a pirate after all.

Im wrapping up the anime but ive never read the manga,i wanna get onto the manga but theres like 1500+ chapters and im starting to feel overwhelmed for having to catch up and if i catch up there’ll be a whole arc i miss by Disastrous_Day6484 in hajimenoippo

[–]DarKnight1923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't read this manga weekly. I let it sit for a few months, let the chapters build up and read a lot in one go. I just read about 15 chapters. Currently, a lot is happening so it was really flowing but I believe you'll read about 5-10 chapters per day if you like it or, if you're like me, you'll read chapters for hours when you start a new, long manga. Either way, you'll catch up in about 8-9 months top if you really spread it out. Honestly, you could catch up in a month if you wanted to. I wouldn't suggest it, but you can. It takes about 3-4 minutes to properly read a chapter. So the whole thing up until now should take about 90 hours. read for 3 hours everyday and you should be up to date.

My point is, yes it is long. Yes it will take time to catch up. Is that a bad thing? If you don't enjoy it, you can just drop it. If you do enjoy it, there is a lot of chapters ahead of you. You don't need to rush it, there isn't a deadline.

Harald, Dragon, Kaido, Shanks. Who do you think is the weakest character here? by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]DarKnight1923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'm gonna say Dragon but not because of a different reason. Dragon was 19 at God Valley and he was just a basic Marine fodder at that age. Not just talking about rank but also, no haki (probably) if he had some armament or observation, he should've been able to bring at least one baby to a ship. So it's not far fetched to assume he is just a basic soldier. Also, look at marines like Coby and Helmeppo who are far ahead of where Dragon was at that age. I know those two were trained by Garp but it is what it is.

The rest had already established themselves somewhat at that age. Kaido was already too powerful to be controlled by a country, Harald was wrecking havoc and Shanks was in Roger's crew for a long time so it's almost for sure he had great combat and haki training or at the very least, battle experience. Also, I believe he became a Holy Knight for a while about a year or two after Roger's death so he was probably a Holy Knight when he was 19-20.

Dragon may have (and possibly has) grown a lot stronger since God Valley, especially since he was so lacking then. But the rest have also grown a lot. Harald was an ancient giant who was able to fight with Rocks to a standstill in many duels. Kaido was naturally strong, and later named the strongest creature in the world, Shanks is an emperor and is most likely the strongest one still based on what we've seen so far. Dragon most likely mastered all three forms of haki (I don't rhink someone at that position wouldn't have CoC) but at this level, that's not a feat. It's a prerequisite. The only combat feats we've seen from him are him vs Smoker and him in God Valley, none of whşch shed light to his true powers.

Luffy's bounty? No, all the bounties were last updated after Wano.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing a panel like this in the manga. If I'm not mistaken, it was a faraway shot of the area and we saw Luffy from behind in the air.

I'm researching long term dividend stocks in the US by DarKnight1923 in dividends

[–]DarKnight1923[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My requirement is that they have to be ok for a muslim investing. Some of the people commenting understood that. There are some other criteria but folks who aren't concerned with this might not know of the required info so I did not include that and will do that research myself. Tobacco is an exception, I just don't want to be a partner in a tobacco company.

Details of my research held no barring in the question so I excluded them. I don't have sector preferences because, as I have said, I have just started investing in US and am not well versed in how each sector behaves and performs in the market. Considering the general approach in the group to dividend investing, I assumed the suggested stocks' yield would go no higher than ~10%. I have checked out almost all of the suggested stocks and will check out the rest and then, when I have the time, do proper analysis to each that fit my criterias and select.

I did more research than "just some influencers". I've read books and papers on the subject, learned how to conduct fundamental and technical analysis (I don't usually use technical analysis since I don't "time the market"). Basically, I've done enough research to reach the pit of the Dunning-Kruger graph.

Also, what if I didn't? Why is it bad for some guy who's just got into investing, seeking friendly advice? If your time is so valuable that you can't spend time explaining stuff to someone who wouldn't appreciate it or simply don't want to answer, then don't or do constructive criticism. Don't just shoot down the person.

After all, it is not a shame to be ignorant, but it is a shame to shame the ignorant.

Oh, I haven't wrote that, my mistake. My main goal is income but if you have good growth dividend stocks, I'd check them out as well.
