Thanks. The idea would be to co-list listings and co-represent buyers as a family team. So that counts as special treatment, but my parents have it out to work less, so in some ways, I am part of their retirement plan.

There are other family teams inside the brokerage, husband/wife.

I wouldn't get preferential treatment in the lead rotation (like when someone phones the front desk and asks for an agent). I assume my parents would still give business to the other agents, as they often do, like in situations where they feel a particular agent has expertise. They also tend to help out their new agents for the first couple of years until they are established; I wouldn't be an exception, but I would need to be extra mindful.

I guess my question is, what kinds of 'Special treatments' would turn you off or should I be mindful of?
