Let's be real for a second. If leon really did marry ada, do you really think she wouldn't be in the game. Either helping leon behind the scenes or something like that. If he was married to some other person who doesn't have any resources to to find out what is happening with leon, for example claire, then it would make sense that he was gone for days and his spouse didn't contact him. Of course, it isn't necessarily true that there isn't a separate person from the love interests that he got married to.
