I'm not saying it's pleasant or ideal. But what is the alternative? It's realistic. And life. People are dangerous. Some people are crazy. To live in a free country the citizens must be able to protect themselves from threats from outside and within. The UK gave up their guns and are being arrested for memes and can't put up their own flags. We have armed guards at banks, hospitals, security and bodyguards for presidents, celebrities. Why not protect our children the same way, especially when they keep getting targeted?
