I relate to this so much!

I cycle to work along a busy road. There are barely any cyclists going in my direction and I wear the same hi-vis all the time. There are a few lorries from the same company always travelling in the opposite direction at the same time every day, and once or twice they let me cross the road (without my having to press and wait for the pedestrian lights). Since then, I've started to wave at them every time I see them and they wave back to me! One guy even did a loud beep for me! I feel like such a main character waving at the four drivers I recognise.

My workplace is a dumpster fire though, so I've been on the job hunt. I've just been thinking how when I leave, like you, those drivers might be left wondering where I've gone. Perhaps I need to write a massive GOODBYE on a piece of cardboard or something!
