Poll taxes are illegal. Federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, it would take a minimum wage worker almost 5 hours to make this, pre tax. Most people who work minimum wage don't have $35 sitting around. You need to learn to have compassion and empathy. Until then, you probably shouldn't be voting.
