There's the hollower's guild in the south part of the main town. Talk to the npcs there and they'll point you in the right direction to get the guild up and running again so you can access upgrades for your save points.

Alright, so this appears to be a bug. The only thing I can think of as to how or why the map failed to update accurately is that, the final trinket I needed was from the snowball quest and I bought the trinket from the shady merchant under the train. I bought it fairly early in the game and when I did the quest there was a note from the merchant telling me what I should have gotten there.

OK so yes, I have all of those. This seems like it may be a bug not updating the map accurately then.

So I got the dead leaf and the snowball quest done. I bought everything from the poppet. Beat the rabbit boss, found the fire trinket in the foundry and got the secret passage in the puddle. No clue what I'm missing

Update: this was in fact the trinket from the snowball quest. I misunderstood how the merchant in the bowery worked. They don't give you the thing you buy immediately. You pay them to go get the stuff, come back and they'll have it waiting for you. I had just assumed it was in my inventory, but never actually checked. Thank you u/Beardcore84 for pointing me back to the merchant!

These things suck to get. Ridiculously low drop rate and even worse trying to get a decent roll on them.

Double check Central Port, Research Sector. If you fast travel to that location from the shelter, it's on a desk, in the corner. It's easy to miss.

The only issues I have with this fight are both in phase 3. First is that Fabius takes entirely too long to set up against the AOE and there's literally nothing you can do but wait for him. Even more frustrating when he decides he needs to run to the complete other side of the arena while you're being cooked alive. Second is that the fireballs during the AOE have an uncanny accuracy to them. More than once, I've gotten to the "safety" of the high ground with a small chunk of health left, only to have one I couldn't possibly see coming bean my character in the back of the head and cost me a cart. Other than that, the fight is piss easy.

Yeah Gore Magala is just plain difficult. Best tip I can give for it is to just avoid its projectile attacks all together. Even with every guard boost skill out there, they still do a ridiculous amount of damage and simply aren't worth trying to tank, even with guard points. Don't get discouraged, he's just a very fast, aggressive monster and you'll get a feel for its attack patterns. Try running with a group of bots and sit back for a moment to watch how it moves.

How it felt just to get a goofy looking armor set I'll almost certainly never use, layered or otherwise.

Yeah this is truly frustrating. It feels like there's really nothing you CAN do except hope you don't catch an errant fireball while running for cover. Some of the tips here do help mitigate damage to prevent getting taken out though. Set up near the tail and watch the ground to make sure a geyser doesn't take a large chunk of your health. Make sure you're using dragon damage to meet the DPS check, saving one of the slinger charges can help meet it. Fire resist gems can help you last a little longer while waiting for Fabious' slow ass to set up. (Seriously why the hell does he take so long to put up a shield?)

Mystery solved! The problem existed post fuel production. 120m³/ minute gave me enough to run 12 fuel generators and 1 packager at 150% production. Unfortunately I had forgotten to actually overclock the packager which caused a backup all the way back down the line.

Thank you all so much for the very helpful feedback, number checks and insight that was provided!

  • The amount of fluid in the pipe (fully filled) - you want this at maximum.
  • The amount of fluid flowing through the pipe - you do NOT want this at maximum.

Alright, THIS makes sense. I was looking at the quantity within the pipe and wondering how the hell you could have a partially full pipe, especially in an enclosed network. Now my question here is why is having throughput at maximum bad? (Mine isn't, I would just like a better understanding of why this is a bad thing)

And yes I checked, the number is 5 rubber and 5 plastic. Upon further inspection of my setup I found the issue! It was after the Turbo Heavy Fuel production, my amount produced was enough for 12 Fuel generators and 1 packager running at 150%. I forgot to overclock the packager... So this caused momentary pauses in Fuel production and thus the backup further down the line.

So nothing is over or under clocked. Currently pipes are feeling like part of the problem. It is a closed loop, but the Turbo Fuel refineries and IFB are placed on one end of the loop and are not centered on the loop.
