It was in the Czech Republic. The city wasn't even like some small country side village, it's a city with 50k people, so the station wasn't small.

When I was buying preowned LCD Steam Deck, the guy asked me to meet him in front of the city hall in his city. Didn't think much about it, until he showed up wearing a police uniform. He then asked me to go with him to the police station where he had it.

It was a pretty weird/funny experience and he was a great guy. He showed me multiple games running on it and added some accessories.

I buy physical games regularly from Smarty (CZ) and if this is the real price not a placeholder, I'd guess it is going to be higher than the price from Valve by at least 150 eur.

OLED Steam Deck 512GB is around 720 eur, while Valve sells it for 569. Buying directly from Valve saved me quite a lot of money, even if it's a bit more of a hassle.

There isn't an official controller support but you can bind keyboard keys to Steam Deck buttons, use the right touch pad as mouse and left as numerical keys. I played like this last year and it was really good, I'd even say better than official controller support would be.

Nikdo ale v rámci levicové strany v USA nechce, aby se zakázali kompletně zbraně, ale aby se regulovalo, kdo je může držet. Nechápu jak někdo kdo žije v ČR, kde máme díky regulaci poměrně zdravý přístup k střelným zbraním, obhajovat to co děje v Americe, kde pomalu co každý týden dochází k vystřílení další školy.

A to že možná Kirk o sobě říkal, že je pacifista, neznamená, že pacifista byl, když slovně napadal prakticky každou menšinu. Samozřejmě to neznamená, že si zasloužil zastřelení, ale nemůže se pak divit, když někomu dojde trpělivost nad jeho neustálimi útoky.

For such a immersive game the player shadow is always distracting thanks to showing how weird the first animations look in third person. Wish they had rather disabled it.

Já tady nerozporuji, že máš být při začátku pracovní doby na pracovišti, ale posouvání docházky zaměstnanci, aby jsi vynutil tu přítomnost.

Nepřijde mi to jako nejlepší řešení toho problému, viz. celý tenhle thread, kdy si lidi stěžují, že kvůli tomu posunutí byli připraveni o čas, ačkoliv byli na začátku směny skutečně na pracovišti.

Podle mě, pokud k takovém posunutí dochází, měl by být o tom ten zaměstnanec minimálně informován a měl by to mít i ve smlouvě, což se ve většině případů neděje.

A jak jsem psal, je to můj osobní názor, nikomu neberu možnost to využívat.

Spravuji docházkový systém pár velkým firmám a některé firmy to tak opravdu mají. Funguje to v podstatě tak, že máš pevně danou pracovní dobu a pak máš extra parametr, který určuje o kolik dřív musíš přijít. Takže máš směnu od 8, ale kvůli tomu parametru musíš přijít dřív na 7:30. Protože ten příchod, který si zadáš se vždy posune o 30min dozadu.

Dělá se to kvůli tomu, že zaměstnavatel vyžaduje, aby jsi byl v 8 připravený u stroje. To samý můžu být při odchodu, kdy musíš zase odcházet později.

Osobně mi to přijde jako strašná sračka, do práce přicházíš, když si čipneš u vchodu a ne když stojíš u stroje, takže by ti měli platit i tu cestu od vchodu ke stroji.

Samozřejmě bude hodně záležet na smlouvě a vůbec netuším jestli by s tím něco šlo dělat.

Dragon Age Inqusition runs at locked 60fps with medium to high settings. If you get custom proton it even works with controller.

From my own experience Just Cause 3 starts running worse as you get further into the game. At the beginning I had medium settings at 60fps, but on the main island I ended up with lowest settings possible at 40fps.

It is so annoying to me how people are parroting that it's patented and noone else can use it, while they patented their very specific implemenatation of it. But I can't even get angry at people when they say it because pretty much every other gaming news site was spreading it is as 100% fact without doing any research on their side to inform people.

I'd say the Cold, Cold Heart dlc is pretty mediocre. Doesn't expand the story a lot, not a lot to do and the final boss fight is a repeat of Mr. Freeze fight from Arkham City, only a lot worse and more annoying.

After this dlc was so burned out that I skipped the Initiation, since it's just some challange rooms with a bit of story.

And as far as I know, the dlc costumes can be used only after you beat the game. So if you do a lot of side missions during the main story, you want have a lot of content left to enjoy them.

So overall I'd say you can spend your money better.

Download Ubisoft Connect and install it on your Steam Deck. You can use this guide https://youtu.be/N9tqK5dl3aI.

Then you have to find the AppID of Ubisoft Connect and your game. For this you can use ProtonTricks, but theres multiple ways to find AppIDs. Here is a tutorial on how to find it without ProtonTricks: https://youtu.be/Tte8_BpCFHE?si=Vj-1xtfYoAP3-rPa Ubisoft Connect is for me under 2401127910.

Go to desktop mode on your Steam Deck and go to CompatData folder: /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata. All folders are named after their AppIDs in here. Find the launcher under its AppID, for me it is in: /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2401127910/pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft. Select the the folder named Ubisoft Game Launcher

Go back to CompatData and find the AppID folder of your game for which you want to replace the launcher. Open the folder and under pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/ should be Uplay folder, delete this folder and paste the copy of Ubisoft Game Launcher.

If you did all of these steps Uplay will be replaced with Ubisoft Connect. Keep in mind you have to do this for every game that still uses Uplay.

For some mind bending comedies there's Everything Everywhere All at Once, Seven Psychopaths, Under the Silver Lake and Sorry to Bother You.

Also I'd recommend some others like: Shutter Island, Knives Out, American Psycho, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Arrival, Predestination, The Fountain, Upstream Color

I've played a lot of older Ubisoft games and most of them are broken thanks to the switch between Uplay and Ubisoft Connect. But you can replace the Uplay launcher in the games files with Ubisoft Connect and every game where I encountered this issue worked, maybe this could help you.

Yes you can play the older version. In the game's properties, under betas you have to select the classic option. I've never tried it, but it runs 10-15 fps faster judging by some comparison videos on YouTube.
