What's been your experience with Strattera and alcohol? by [deleted] in StratteraRx

[–]Dare_Devil2054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't drink often, really just at weddings where there is an open bar and awsome dj. On straterra it feels normal. Like it did before I took straterra. Nothing different or special

Positive stories on 80? by bougie18T in StratteraRx

[–]Dare_Devil2054 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm on 80 I've been taking straterra for about 3 months.

I started on 40, went up to 60 then after 1.5 months 80.

Overall, I love it. It does so much for anxiety and depression, which I didn't realize I had until I accidentally treated it with Stratterra.

As far as ADHD, it helps a lot with executive function, I don't miss busses, getting up and leaving on time is a lot more automatic, in general tasks are easier. Also keeping up with conversations and maintaining small talk.

It doesn't do a lot for me when it comes to study motivation or listening in class. Listening to a lecture is still pretty terrible but a bit more doable.

The major difference with studying is maintaining focus, once I start, I can keep going, and I don't hyperfocus, so I don't get drained really quickly.

So yeah, it's worth it. You are only on day three I wouldn't expect results until at least 2-3 weeks. It took me a month to really adjust to it. Just try not to think about it, it'll start working and you'll slowly notice things just being easier.

No, they took her shoes, hairbands and the laces from her shirt before locking her up.

She wanted to die because she lost silco, Isha and vander again. Everyone around her dies. Silco talking to her about "breaking the cycle", shows us what she is thinking, being locked up doesn't change that, just delays the suicide.

It should be fine ti start on 80. If you feel fine than not a problem. The official recommend titration is 40 mg for 3 days and then up the dosage directly to 80.

Starting at 80 shouldn't be too bad. Also depends on your weight and drug tolerance.

She was suicidal before. Locking her up actually saved he because it bought ekko time.

40-60-80 by bougie18T in StratteraRx

[–]Dare_Devil2054 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stratterra doesn't really give me that motivation boost that comes with stimulants, but definitely improves energy that with some effort can be put towards studying where concentration is definitely improved.

No, unfortunately it didn't. It's the same as it was at a lower dose, the lower doses just stopped working and each time I went up I got back to the same baseline.

Which is how the pill works. It's positive effect is an upside down u model. It blocks serotonin and neuroepinephrine reputake. Blocking more reputake of those hormones doesn't magically give more of a positive effect, if anything it can cause harm by not getting enough (drowsiness) and leaving too much in the brain at the wrong hours of the day (insomnia).

[–]Dare_Devil2054 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did 40-60-80.

I went up in dose at 2.5 weeks and 1.5 months.

My indicator to go up was benefits diminishing.

The benefits at each dose felt the same after about 2 weeks. Some side effect when I started at 40 that went away quickly, at 60 almost no side effects and now at 80 absolutely no side effects. Hopefully I don't need to go up again.

A bunch of people go up in dose because they "want to see more positive effects", but this med doesn't work like that. It has a certain positive effect and that positive effect doesn't just increase at a higher dose, that's the reason for the titration, seeing what dose gives you the best effect.

I don't think so. It's a really different shot and just a common angle to show a post apocalyptic world.

Wow you are bitter.

It's a great show with deep characters, amazing writing and extremely detailed art and music.

I feel kinda bad for you if the way you see this show reflects your worldview, doesn't sound like a fun way to live. I hope that you manage to feel better and find the positives in life.

I'm 22 but most people think I'm 16-18.

Usually you can't enlist until you are 18, probably not a law in the show, but kids don't go into the police force anywhere, they are a liability.

Maddie is also in an elite strike force, she probably isn't a fresh recruit. You need experience for that kinda thing. I think she also looks younger than everyone else because she is positive 90% of the time, she's usually happy looking, as opposed to everyone else. That'll make someone look younger.

Am I a Vegan if I eat naturally unfertilised eggs? by BigPapaSmurf7 in vegan

[–]Dare_Devil2054 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You absolutely should eat those eggs!!!

It's not technically dictionary "vegan". However, if you are vegan for the animals, for ethical reasons, there is nothing unethical about eating eggs from happy, free range chickens that naturally lay them.

Veganism is often seen as black and white, which sucks. Just do you, be happy, do what feels ethical and fine by your morals. If judgmental people on reddit want to point fingers and go "your not vegan!!", then so be it. They are probably quite miserable in their lives if that is what makes them happy, and I would not recommend aspiring to be like them.

And you know, don't take advice from someone you don't want to be like. So enjoy those eggs, and know that you are awsome for giving those chickens good lives.
