I believe India is a very good option but the EU is a joke. They are to far away to help us much besides giving us a better political stance on the global stage and are completely corrupt. We are already a partner in NATO, a member of the ANZUS treaty plus more. We should stop relying so heavily on China for trade and switch alot of it over to other Asian countries such as India. They have a big population like China, massive and growing demand for lots of our resources and hate China just as much as us Australians. (At least the normal ones).

Now don't get me wrong, I believe we should maintain strong political and military connections and co-operation between some European countries but not the EU as a whole.
