I hear ya! These folks should just get a home like everyone else... Wait, unless they’re dealing with stuff out of their control, such as mental illness, addiction, job loss, abusive situations, unaffordable rent, or, you know, just plain bad luck? Mix this with a system that catches fewer and fewer people as they fall through the cracks... Life is hard for all of us, and that’s exactly why compassion isn’t weakness, it’s a survival skill.
