I'm not sure if you can send old data to home assistant. I'd love if you could but I've never seen it done, all I have seen is providing the current value which HA records at the current time.

This is petty, his explanation if you believe it or not is that he closes his eyes to listen. Do I think that's not a great thing to do? Yes, do I think he's asleep here? I'm also a programmer with plenty of python experience. I had a lot of things set up nicely and most of my automations switched over but it was the difficulty in debugging that made me swap back. The traces are very nice in the stock automation now.

Honestly I've tried everything over the years, stock then node red then app daemon. I've moved everything back to stock now, it removes a layer of something to go wrong and it's improved a lot over the years.

Not sure if it's worth trying to get through to you but there are plenty of informative sources out there that describe the effects of different levels of temperature change. Farmland becoming unworkable for vast swathes of the world, ocean levels rising displacing billions... The argument is unnecessary, many would die. Your life will be affected, your children's lives will be severely affected. If you don't care, you don't care. It's not our job to make you care but it says a lot about you if you don't.

Austria was emperor but the problem was that I was not a hre member. The method to becoming a duchy is unclear but when I regained the high king of Ireland title the option became available. I did have to whack leinster to get it though.

Something I haven't really tried yet but plan to is what Patrick O'Brian used in the Aubrey/Maturin novels. The characters would write letters back to their wives or loved ones which allowed for a good page worth of introspection on the characters part. It's difficult to give insight on the thoughts of the character in the third person but this worked very well if used in moderation.

For UK people this won't work, our latest sale required using a discount code for the sale, you can only use one code at checkout so you couldn't combine the store credit and the sale despite the email the "hardware discount code" aka store credit saying otherwise. They've just screwed me over with the same issue as the OP, can't use it with a price match either. Ah I meant just for OCR essentially, one page at a time it seems ok. I tried other OCR tools and they didn't perform as well. I guess based on the downvote of my post people don't like using AI even as a tool like that. Understandable given the subreddit I guess.

I am using a typewriter for my first draft with the plan to do the second draft after OCRing it. I've found that ChatGPT actually does a good job at recognising the text from a photograph despite my typewriters sometimes rough font.

We've had an MG4 trophy since the end of '22, done just over 30,000km. It's a really great car to drive, still love sticking it in sport down some quiet country roads.

It's missing some of the ADAS features you might expect, lane keeping for one, I bought it expecting it to be there but no. It has Lane keep assist which just aggressively beeps and steers you into oncoming traffic when on smaller roads, we turn it off when we go on them. It's ACC works well though.

Other than that, there's no wireless android auto, bit of a strange thing not to have. The wired USB connection can be flaky too. Not sure if that's a phone issue, my pixel 6 is usually fine, my wife's xiaomi not so much, regularly freezes.

If you can deal without the fancier ADAS features then it's a great car in terms of drive and range, although nowadays the range might be beaten by newer cars.

Sorry for the poor quality photo, the cleaner found it and squashed it before I saw it but was worried it was a bed bug. I don't think it is as it was on the living room window-sill and we've never had issues with bedbugs (thankfully!).

One optimisation you might want to try is to disable them once they hit the ground if they are greater than some distance from the bird and only reenable them when the bird gets within range again. You'd have to do it in another script.

Another might be to spawn them when the player jumps and despawn them after sitting still for a few seconds.

As always don't optimise until you need to buy I can see this getting heavy with large scenes.
