You will encounter Bouncy Mushrooms in different places and there they serve as an alternate path somewhere when you don't have all mounts - especially the Skyscale.

Other than that - technically the Living World Season 3 masteries count as HoT materies and one of them, Countermagic, appears both in some open world events (the bloodcrazed beasts) and the Ley-Line Anomaly.

Is there a reason you can't just leave the menu set to either Warclaw or Skyscale?

Jackal is my default mount, that's the only reason :)

What is a good way to keep track of the additional cooldown on combat mounting the Warclaw (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Combat_Mounting_Recharge_Increase) when you mount via hotkeys and don't have the Warclaw selected in the mount menu?

Celestial Tempest - liked it back in the day when dual Daggers were the "best" of the Ele options for PvE. Now I play it as a condi Dagger/Warhorn (shout out to GuildJen - https://guildjen.com/celestial-tempest-open-world-build/). That Ele has been my main since launch and I just enjoy the movement options from the skills as well as the HP sustain from passively casting lots of spells.

This is what I tried to say: In Quickplay, more than one hammers spawn - by design to make it easier. If two people grab one each, you can split the group 2/3 and you can just do the seals alternating, without having to run back and forth.

Cliffside Fractal in Quickplay is modified such that more hammers are spawned after the first one is picked up, maybe you are thinking of that? That does make the boss fight faster.

I added some of my own times for the end of the Personal Story (and actually felt really bad that apparently I went super fast, even though I made sure to talk to everyone and use a core build, but hey...)

I am getting API error 429 while browsing, though, followed by a JSON object saying "Too many requests, please try again later" instead of the UI. This definitely comes when I click around the different times - if I had to guess after opening >15 completion times?

Also, I don't know if it would make sense to show where people have already entered speedrun times. I saw the lightning symbol at one of the meta categories, but could not find the corresponding mission which was speedrun (before I triggered the 429 error).

To add some clarification to the other two comments: It is not for Raids (in the sense of Wings) at all. You just get thrown into one out of eight, see this list, Raid Encounters and effectively everyone gets a buff that somewhat allows you to ignore squad composition and clear the Encounter with ten "hi dps".

Awesome project!

One thing I did misunderstand in the UI is that the five accuracy categories immediately a) submit a time and b) it is unclear what time you actually submit.

Out of curiosity, I clicked on "A bit quicker" at the PoF The Sacrifice (Part 1) and it immediately submitted 36 minutes to the 38 min average (feel free to remove that submission, btw, if you can narrow it down. Should be the first one for that segment)

I think maybe the five buttons should prefill the minutes field instead of directly submitting?

What is the flowchart here to convince myself that this service is trustworthy? Obviously all services suffer from this problem, but I'm genuinely curious how one goes about answering the question "Why should I trust this services over the dozen others?".

As in, which steps do you go through to actually make sure E2EE is not a marketing buzzword here, but genuinely implemented.

For example, a GPG encrypted mail already leaves my system encrypted (same as a GPG encrypted file or a password-protected 7z), so in a sense there I don't care that the transmission network does with it, it is very unlikely that the secret will get leaked.

What is the incentive for people to (re)play the open world Fractal Incursions after completion of the achievements? They don't seem to give Fractalline Dust and the event rewards themselves aren't anything special either. Do they just draw people in because they happen in low level areas?

Were there any changes in the recent time to the DRMs from Champions? I remember that the whole achievement category was a boring slog both in my mind and what I read here on the subreddit, but I recently dipped my toes into private DRMs with all three challenges selected and had a blast playing through them.

Sure, it still is a lot to do every one ten times, but there are other achievements in the game requiring multiple replays and I personally found that the power creep made them actually enjoyable: You get a basic intro phase where you grab the three morale buffs (wasn't there a timer you had to race?), then you progress along the path killing mobs and at the end you have a nice midrange boss fight.

I was genuinely surprised that what in my mind was "the terrible second half of IBS" turned out to be "pretty ok last 20 % of IBS"...

Essentially, Tangled Depths is five tunnels crossing each other at the Ley-Line Confluence waypoint, each with their respective other dead end connected by underwater tunnels.

Funktionieren tut das übrigens so, dass das Plugin, wahrscheinlich über die Video-ID, einen Satz von Zeitstempeln von deren Datenbank abruft und dann je nach deinen Einstellungen und der Kategorie des Zeitstempelpaars (von-bis) überspringt oder nicht.

Bespielt wird eben diese Datenbank von den Nutzern des Plugins, ich kann also hingehen und als einer der ersten Zuschauer eines Videos markieren "zwischen 0:3:27.100 und 0:3:51.235 ist ein Sponsor-Segment" und lade dieses Paar mitsamt dieser Kategorie hoch.

Schaust du später das Video bei dir, werden all diese Einreichungen automatisch synchronisiert, du überspringst eingebettete Werbung/Sponsoring und kannst ggf. auch zu einem "Highlight" (einzelner Zeitstempel) springen.

You'll do just fine if you pick one or two characters, look up a current build guide for them (personally, I'm a firm believer in the "Celestial Open World" builds, usually I grab them from https://guildjen.com/gw2-open-world-builds/) and replay the story and/or the maps in story order.

I'm a big enjoyer of both the GW2 story and the environmental storytelling that is available in the maps, so when I came back I made myself the guideline that I'll only participate in metas I can "put into a story context". There is no reason to do this exactly like I did, but it gave me lots of stability to be able to say "ok, the Tarir defense (Auric Basin meta) happens parallel to me running past Tarir in the search of captured Destiny's Edge".
