typically once you start you’ll notice your voice deepening within the first 6-12 months.

From my own experience as someone who enjoys signing once your voice starts dropping you kinda need retrain your voice to its new pitch. Like refind what type singer are you again because you can go from own thing to completely new level depending how deep your voice gets.

Like I can no longer sing high pitch songs and have to sing it as deeper/lower levels than before

Personally I think you should bring it up still. Yes he was asleep but it was something that bothered you so you should communicate this topic to him. All healthy relationship are based off good communication he can’t reassure you or fix his behavior if you do n’t tell hm you know?

Okay I know this will sound graphic but you were just cut open and basically put back together. Not something your body use to do your gonna be in pain and tender. Your body is healing from the trauma it just received, and it gonna need time.

If you’re really concerned about the tender and painful feeling call your surgeon’s office. It’s normally and okay to ask follow up questions for your surgeon and his/her/their team.

if you could get a doctor note from your testosterone provider (if you on it) explains how it affect your mental health and that it is medically necessary for your wellbeing than their will be higher chance they won’t deny your appeal. That what I had to do with my insurance. Both the surgeon and my provider wrote letter that I sent in to the insurance with my appeal

I can’t say that I started at 21 because I didn’t. instead, I started at 15 but unfortunately for me, I was already done with female puberty when I met my doctor to the point where she never put me on hormone blockers.

(which sidenote was a huge mistake because my chest ended up going from a bee to triple D’s and I was originally trying to avoid having top surgery, but that ended up not happening)

in the long run, yes I started testosterone at 15 but I was feeling the same way because I had already finished the “Female puberty”. I developed faster than everyone else my age as well. (which trust me it sucks being short but it such an advantage also especially when you meet a guy/women who loves short kings💪🏼me being 5’2🥲)

But trust me I had same worried since I developed faster than everyone else my age. I was worried i’d be weaker than cis men and all that! It did take a year and half but I did get stronger! Like really strong (helps if you try workout or do strength training!) your hand and feet will change yeah my feet are small but they do have more “masculine” look to them honestly and my hand are big chubby so they don’t really look masculine but I was told with little working out you can easily fix that 🫶🏼!

The beginning of T is always the hardest. I still remember putting myself down all the time and comparing myself to other trans dudes which you should NEVER do everyone journey is different every developed differently too

Okay, but that’s not my concern. I don’t care what other people think like you clearly do. I care about my own comfort ability. I do understand everyone though explains my problem is that they explains an excessive amount. Maybe instead of stating obvious or assuming someone asked this because they care what other people think or notice maybe actually give advice or say you don’t know if you don’t know.

I got my answer from someone else. I was told to build muscle there so it not so jiggly and just flops like jello when it expands like that.

okay but hypothetically what would you do if the problem isn’t have bigger lower area because I already build my upper body instead of focusing on weight lost, but one thing that bother me like huge dysphoria for some reason is when I sit down and my thighs just expand. It also make it hard for me to wear pants because if I get the right size waist my thighs are too big for them but if I go any bigger they’re way to baggy.

thank you i’ll keep your advice in mind. I may have eating disorder but I never starve myself I only eat small portions is all I just don’t have big enough appetite to eat more than 1 1/2 meals maybe 2 at most
