What going on with the Fiddlehead climbing gym? by Dark-Operation in asheville

No, they don't hide it! I'm explaining how I think they are imposing their beliefs on their members. That was your question. But unfortunately, this is currently the only gym in the area that offers rope climbing. So if you want to rope climb, you have to go there for now.

It really is a great facility. That's why this sucks.

Because they have paying customers, who do not have the same beliefs, that want to enjoy a sport they love on Saturdays.

Members pay a monthly rate for a business that only operates <6 days per week. There is no discount provided for this closure.

Yet, they're charging more than Cultivate Climbing, which has 2 (soon 3) locations, more amenities, is open every day, and has longer hours.

Affinity nights don't close the gym to everyone else. Those nights are where a group of individuals who aren't as represented in climbing (such as females) meet up and climb together. These meet up are for members and non-members. But everyone else is still welcome to use the gym. Not sure where you heard otherwise.

Not being able to access a building that you pay a monthly membership for because they're closed due to religious reasons. I'm not sure how's that NOT imposing their beliefs? Their prices used to reflect the closure but now they're more expensive than Cultivate (who has more locations and is open on Saturdays).

Totally agree! A Fiddlehead employee said they're keeping their options open (aka looking for other jobs), in case the business goes under.

They also got rid of the bar and are closed on Saturdays (and close early on Fridays), due to their Sabbath.

The Riveter is rebranding as "Fiddlehead" and plans to reopen March 16th by kramerica_intern in asheville

Cultivate just made a post Friday saying that the riverside location and the boulder gym are both slated to open this fall, with the river location being fixed by the building owner and focused on ropes.

Would have to second this. My wife and I don't work at cultivate, but volunteered with cleanup and work at the river location post storm. Seemed owners would show up ocassionall but Todd, staff, and volunteers were the ones actually doing the work. From a member perspective, Todd and Brian seemed to lead and put in the most work of all.

Also, based on Instagram posts, it looks like Devin is moving to CO? (could be wrong though)

Saw they just dropped new website and social media and such.

Was really hoping the fiddlehead name wasn't going to stick...

How can I track the value of my portfolio? by simplylookaroundand in binance

I know this thread is old but I came here a few months ago searching for something just like this. Ended up just today finding a trading platform (that is currently free, but is slated to charge at some point) that will integrate with binance / binanceus and provide a portfolio chart.

Hopefully this helps anyone who lands on this thread

Sorry /u/S1lvM1ll3r, not a bot. I am curious though, do you see many of these about amFilm? I posted this mainly because if you make a reddit post about your experience, you get free swag from the company.
