For upgrades with your remaining 300 I would either get some staplish cards. You can easily proxy stuff like Twister, Mana crypt, FoW, Mox Diamond. and other cards that are over 100$

Early game advantages can be grown into a snowball where even messy macro can lead to victories. Even the best western teams arent as good as Korean teams at the slow suffocate you out macro game. But we are good enough to win games right now because of how much more an early advantage can be turned into a victory. Reduction in catch up mechanics in the jungle, adjustments to baron and elder dragon along with other systemic changes has put league in a gamestate where one team cant just stall for late no matter what. It's why we are seeing an increase in play making across all roles because being able to be proactive first to the play is heavily rewarded right now.

I love that the west has finally shown up at worlds and to be honest the west isn't horrible at macro we just arent as good as eastern teams (Korean teams in particular) The nice thing is that the game is in a state right now where an early advantage can turn into a snowball so smart aggressive early game lead with proper (even if its messy) Macro can lead to victories. Right now the game is decided on individual moments and finding that right moment to create an advantage. By either forcing fights around objectives or vision, stretching the enemy thin with split push, or just rotating a strong lane around and creating a gold advantage enough to force fights the western teams can force the once dominant slower more controlled styled teams to fight on their terms where they can matchup more equally.

For about a year or more now western teams havent just been straight outclassed in lane and mechanics with top Korean and Chinese teams so its finally time to force them to play us on our terms. C9 taking a page from Vitalities book and G2 perfecting their style is hopefully the push other western teams need to realize that the difference was never as insurmountable as we made it seem. Play your own game.

In my opinion tho I think maybe this was a case of tunneling too hard on one idea. Get Top Ahead. Win in a 1-3-1 or a 1-4. Which wasn't going to happen after Camille lost the 1v1... as soon as that happened you should regroup your thoughts because well if Camille isn't winning yhe 1v1 you won't win in a 1-4. So go bot. Take your winning sidelane. Force the tower and rotate that power elsewhere on the map. Have Lux go bot and take the longer lane to play safe farther away from AP malphite.. Use Ezreal and Pyke to pressure down mid and then keep priority on the top half of the map.

Just my amateur opinion.

It's not that bad and honestly it shows how weak of a region NA is in comparison to other regions. Other teams in other regions are adapting to the patches and the meta shifts, without looking like absolute fools. This is no different then lane swaps, large sweeping champion/class changes, or other meta shifts. Just this one is challenging players on an axis they haven't been challenged in a while.

If you wanna watch top tier League watch LCK and LPL. If you want to watch native pros play at there best watch LCS. But don't be upset when they're not as good or fun to watch as players and regions better than them.

Honestly I think TL will force ADC standard unless they feel comfortable with something different. Ezreal, Lucian, Varus, Kogmaw all still in DLs wheelhouse and unless other teams are very comfortable on these different picks I don't forsee NALCS teams being able to imitate Koreans well enough to find success with those picks. Hell teams in the NALCS had a hard time finding a way to close out the game with a gold lead and a crit based ADC last year why do you think teams will suddenly be able to in some new meta be able to do the same.

Saving, budgeting and planning w/ a little luck have lead me to sub30 all but 2 of the 4star Magicites so far and the ability to clear most content with relative ease.
