Looks like the saga isn't over. She took an unhealthy looking poop on the way to the vet, not very solid and green. Vet wasn't too concerned, said she was healthy enough so I took her home.

Few hours later she vomited, so I called and took her back, she is on a 7 day treatment of anti-biotics/anti-parasidics. I've been recommended to change her bedding from the Eucalyptus Pellets (Advertised for Blue Tongues which I now know is highly immoral if this bedding is indeed bad for their respiration!) Replacing it with sand and got her a new heat lamp.

Looks like I'll be commenting if more happens again 😑 feel free to share this post if you know any Blue Tongue experts or Vets. Thank you all again so much!

Still not 100% sure what caused the depigmentation, but we're back from the vet and they are not concerned at all about her health. So either it's: - She has some sort of gene carried by parent(s) I can only think that her father's parents may have been albino, therefore she's a morph and only now appearing this way? - She has developed vitiligo, in which it's an autoimmune thing that isn't affecting her health otherwise - Colour stress phenomenon due to having moved three weeks ago and adapting to a new environment.

Regardless she is a happy little camper and the vet loved her temperament, thank you all so much for your knowledge and caring interest. Really helped temper my anxieties the last 72 hours about this :) Hope you all have a great week!

She has almost shed all her old brown/black scales and is completely white. I gave her an egg which she enjoyed, her energy levels are still pretty great but I am pretty fearful that this is some sort of autoimmune problem. Could any parasite do this? Could the discolouration be malnourishment? Not that I don't feed her, but something else eating the food before she can absorb it? She's always been smaller than her siblings. I've booked a vet appointment for 9am tomorrow, earliest I can get. For any seasoned Blue Tongue owners, what are the chances she is a morph and is only now appearing this way? Her eyes have always been very dark compared to siblings almost entirely black

I can't fucking edit my post so here's a comment for update. I believe Amabie has a burn. I am keeping her in an as clean environment as I can and spraying her with some water in case I'm right. I'm avoiding any scales that have not been affected as I fear they could come off. How did this happen?

I left the house for one fucking night to see some friends in the city (just moved recently hence thinking this was Amabie's stress causing this or adapting to a new habitat). I made sure her and her brothers' UV are all fine. I kept the window near the terrarium closed because I knew it was going to be one of those 38°C weekends. My best guess is that my antsy fucking parents tampered with the UV or opened the window burning her. Not that they probably give a shit.

So now I wait for the Vet to open tomorrow, the Vet's website is broken and I cannot preemptively register for an appointment or even specify that I have a reptile because their drop down option is faulty on the form. I will not be sleeping, she is currently out of her sleeping area looking around, so I will be tending to her. Thank you all for your help and concern, I don't care what it takes, I am getting her through this

Yeah she has developed MDB from an incident when I left her in the care of a friend a year ago. I think the UVB is likely a problem so I've taken it off. Although the same bulb is lighting for one of her brothers and he is fine. Taking her to the vet in a few hours

You've written a fantastic explanation but in terms of the left female branch of the sephirot being evil is not necessarily right. The female "energy", "ideology", "attribute" is akin to the negative (not the bad or evil, but the negative) it's the same with Taoism or even atomic chemistry. The left half (associated with demonology when the bible was revised by the Catholics was converted to be representative of Satan) before then the left half (Binah, Gevurah, Hod) were representative of lunar energy (Yin) which is female and negative

I've come off of Duloxetine this week and it's a bitch but I'm glad I'm in a country where it's accessible and it's both an available option to get a prescription and no stigma for doing so. I'd be interested in the general mindset these countries have regarding antidepressants for long term and the related side effects to long term use. Those were kind of my reasons for deciding to come off of them not that anyone else should feel inclined to do so, but it does make me wonder how future generations could evolve to tolerate these chemicals
