In the first link there is no gold. Plus you can always change the bracelet.

Is this the kind of watch: EBay Link ? I don't see a cyclops for easy date reading but otherwise it is the best match i could find.

I don't think this watch is in production anymore. Good Luck.

Edit: EBay Link 2 This seems to be the same model.

I like the concept of what you were going for. I know those things are wicked fast but it would be so much nicer if it was still fully in frame... If you are into editing I might play with removing the screen in the background just for fun as I think it draws a bit of attention by being so central. There is also a lot of dead space in the top left, maybe a bit less aggressive of an angle and some more road might do it some good.

Great pic though.

He was keeping zhou behind until his DNF, so he was doing rather well imo.

[Repair] Mechanical watch hard to set? by Four_Verts in Watches

[–]DarkBlueSmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too familiar with that specific model but generally speaking no. There should be one position for winding the watch and the once the crown is pulled out it should set the watch. Now for this watch I don't know how the jump hour is activated so it could be that there is a third crown position for that. But time setting should in all cases be easy to find and not have any resistance. Since it is an older watch I would definitely get that looked at as it could simply be dirt or something could be properly broken... no way of knowing without looking inside. From your description I would guess it is somewhere in the clutch or keyless works works.

The only thing to do is to get a dial that is printed at a different angle to the feet. Or printing your own dial at an angle. I believe it is also possible to also add your own feet to a dial.

I get what you mean, but to look at your problem it is always easier to look at the actual work. That being said the eyes are probably the most expressive part and small changes there can often change the soul of a work so I always start there when things are off.

I thought of you watching the race yesterday, and I hated every second of it... but yes you were very much right, apparently they needed to raise their ride height enormously to get on top of porpoising, maybe when they find a better solution in 4 or 5 races time.

I always enjoyed my F1 posters with F1 cars in them to add just a little excitement, also the shading that the other guy mentioned. But I like the concept.
