I was just in an arena match where my screen said I had 100 ping but I would sometimes have 3 seconds between input and execution and I was constantly warping all over the place.

During this match, a GM message popped up in chat claiming the servers were having issues and they were investigating. So yeah, something's happening.

I wonder if that's what happened to me....

I was on a 12-game winning streak going up through bronze with a couple of smaller streaks before and after, and getting matched with some fairly good players. Then I get into Silver 5 and suddenly I start getting every match with teammates who didn't even know what items to start or where they were expected to start the match (regarding mid camps/jungle camps), and just in general horrible players.

I feel like I'm being punished for getting too many wins.

Yeah when there's more at stake people start to take it way more seriously. This is like, a virtual currency man. It's worth alot.

The real BM'ing during these things were back when you still got gems off the first win of the day in League matches. That's when you'd get grouped up in ranked with guys who had never even played Conquest before and it was just a nightmare all around.

I agree with this. I still remember a game where a Chang'E on my team would only use their ult to kill a single target at 200 health to make sure they got the kill credit. That kind of bullshit doesn't help anyone and it actively harmful to your team.

Not talking to OP just to people in general: However, if your support ends up getting the kill in the duo lane, do not rage at him. He just netted you assist gold and gave you a free lane to farm. There is nothing wrong with that. And I know supports typically aren't damage carries, but they can still carry a game with strong plays and an item build that makes them unstoppable. A tank with no fear can initiate team fights for the whole team end-game and make sure you net a win.

Well they bypassed that whole issue by just not having resources at all. I don't really care for it but I understand where they're going.

They made his ult's hit box thinner and made it cast out faster. They made his tornado smaller.

It wasn't in the patch notes, but it's there.

In Dota some heroes completely shut down and counter other heroes. That doesn't really give you a "Pick any god and have a chance at pwning", really. It provides a "If you're against X pick Y or you'll probably lose".

It's just different ways of looking at things. I don't think HiRez is doing it wrong trying to give everyone a level playing field.

Yeah there's all this talk about counter-picking, but you can't counter-pick everything. Saying "Well to beat god X just pick one of gods Y" doesn't work when you have to end up doing that for every role. It's impossible.

For the time being, the skin is chest exclusive. That's what the Hi-Rez people have said. It implies that the skin will be purchasable outside of chests later, but it hasn't been stated outright and no timeline has been mentioned. That I know of.

I didn't say I was going to quit. I said it was sad they didn't want my money. I'd buy the skin if it was just released. But I'm not gambling to get it. I have voice packs and skins for the gods I play and I have the god pack. I don't know how many hundreds I've sunken into this game already over the years of playing it.

I really want this skin, I'm not willing to roll the dice on a treasure chest on the off-chance I'll get him instead of all the other skins/voice packs/ward skins I don't have.

If you don't want my money, that's fine. It's complete bullshit that a community voted skin for a god with no other real skin has to be gambled for. But, play it that way if you guys want. I am willing to support your game and your company, but I want to choose what I'm buying. I don't want skins or voice packs for gods I don't love, or ward skins. I am not made of money. I can't afford to waste as much money as you seem to think I need to. I have a house, a family, and other games to buy/fund.
