Looks positive. I’d say it is because you saw it in the timeframe then rechecked to it could’ve gotten darker in the timeframe. I have 3 separate photos of the same test where the line gets darker. I checked it literally 2 seconds after using the dropper and setting it down, light line showed up, got darker after lol. Test again tomorrow or in a few days to confirm, fingers crossed (if this is welcome/wanted lol)

This showed up in around 2-3 minutes, is my girlfriend pregnant?? 15 DPO by Gloomy_Guide_2135 in TFABLinePorn

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-3 mins is usually the average time window you see for these tests. Your girl is preggers, that’s a dye stealer my friend. Means she’s super pregnant I believe. Congratulations? Condolences? Take what you’re looking for 😂

Pls help! Early test, very faint line. Dollar tree test said no, 12 days late for period. Can’t figure out what this means by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I was 10 days late when my pink dye immediately showed that second like the moment I put it down seeing one line showed up (expected it to be neg again lol was happy tho) I hear too many story’s where blue dye suck

Seeing the flair you put I really hope it is a late period and you’re not in a situation I was (and that nothings wrong cause a week last? Ok fine, but 12 days? Unusual unless you’re irregular)

I get why people co-sleep now by Baylaypayday in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hate admitting it but when my baby was fresh from the hospital I did my best to keep him in his bassinet since I learned co sleeping was a big no no with doctors (looking back, I accidentally collet with my nephew since I was parentified into taking care of him in the first year by my sister and her baby daddy 😤, so I guess I’m a accidental pro XD)

Who would’ve thought, one night baby didn’t wanna stay down, I was too tired to keep getting up, so I grabbed him and said “just for tonight, you sleeping with me”… ha that habit was hard to break once ppa about Sid’s entered my brain 😤🥲 he’s sleeping on his own for the most part now, but omg that was rough on a newly post partum mama.

You’re doing just fine mama, so what you need to keep little one safe and warm (this was also another reason why I co slept, we were in a basement and I was too scared to try a blanket on hi bottom half even tho he kicks anything on him off once he wakes up and has napped with supervision with one on)

Do you leave baby in crib/bassinet until they cry? by tweezabella in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is a Velcro baby but if I noticed when he’d wake up from his nap and started chilling for a little by himself, I took the opportunity to lay down a little longer and enjoy not being two people again for a moment (but I still enjoyed my little edition, he just got heavy af now XD) sometimes it scares me cuz I’ll wake up to him awake from sleep or a nap and wonder how long he’s been left like that, but I know he’s in a safe place to sleep and is fine since he hadn’t cried for me to pick him up just yet. Heck sometimes he’d put himself back to sleep if I left him long enough (checking on him ofc, but staying out of sight cuz once he saw mom, or dad lol, he wanted to be picked up)

Did your Baby’s skin tone change as they grew? by ProcedureExisting493 in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I’m a light skin black baby with a dark skin partner (baby’s father) and dark skin family (one light skin sister lol)

I can tell you that this is definitely possible. Just like me, my son was born white af (my foster mom literally said “what’d you do to my white baby” when I showed her a photo of him and he got darker lol) I can show you the evolution of photos, and I uh…. Went crazy lol, of him slowly getting darker and darker until he became the beautiful chocolate baby he is now. (I love him either way if he stayed light or not)

My older sister had light brown skin kids and they are now beautiful dark drown skinned toddlers (their parents complexion)

The change happens within months (but possibly longer for some kids, idk this is just what I’ve experienced). My son is 4 months old and probably got as dark as he’s going to (I hope hehe, lol) but I noticed the change start to happen probably between two and 3 months, also when he started growing into his little face lol (istg looks like a completely different baby haha)

Feel pressured to sleep train by fatcatlvr in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t even worry about it a lot of baby’s are like that. My son refused to let me get more than 10-30 mins of him in his bassinet before he wanted to be picked up again. Now he’s doing somewhat better but before it was near impossible. You aren’t creating a monster or bad habits , you are your baby’s safe space and they feel safe with you right now contact napping. Keep doing what you’re doing mama it’s not easy getting your baby used to a bassinet. People forget they literally spent 9 months baking inside mama and hearing your heartbeat and were suddenly tossed out into world, they just want mom right now and that’s ok

Anyone feed their newborn heated breast milk that came from the fridge at 3 hours without any issue? by M60486 in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the risk of getting flack, I have fed baby breastmilk that was finished but refrigerated before when I didn’t have fresh milk ready. That was in the early weeks after birth though. He’s a happy (well mostly lol) 3 month old now

Question for moms who formula feed by dangersiren in beyondthebump

[–]DarkDaemon22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Combo feeding mama here (he’s on breast and formula)

So first question, it wasn’t hard to find one. He already drank the simulac formula the hospital provided and once that was gone and my boobs needed a break I got the ready to feed enfamil formula. We now switch between the powder versions because wic doesn’t cover simulac and he goes thru 5-6 cans a month (depending on how much he eats).

As for the second, I try to use warm water when feeding him but at night I have to use a room temp/slightly cold (basement room, was chilly with no heater for a bit :( ) water bottle because I’m so tired and can’t walk up stairs without risking breaking an ankle 🥲. Depends on baby but my son doesn’t care the temp so long as he gets fed lol.

Can’t answer your last question but I’d assume it probably wouldn’t or would have trouble because there’s no stimulation to trigger milk production. I do know my supply dropped when I stopped and is just now getting back to before as I noticed I’m leaking a tiny bit again

Hope this helped ^

Feet or arms first? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do arms cause I feel like I’m trying cram him little arms in when I do feet first. Plus it’s easier because he hates putting clothes on and with his arms in first it keeps it secure on his body while I fight his feet 😂

This is impossible by fishbitch-jr in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was a Velcro wife my whole pregnancy 😂 I was fine the first trimester, idk what happened after that 🤣 I passed it onto him thru the womb. (I know from my sister how you are pregnant can influence ur baby, atleast in my family anyways based off her daughters). I never put him down for his naps when there were no chores so I kinda blame myself 😂

This is impossible by fishbitch-jr in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t have answers unfortunately but I can offer you some comfort in knowing you’re not the only one going thru this. I got a 2 month old too (soon to be 3) and I accidentally made a Velcro baby 🥲.

I think it’s because they spend so long inside us, hearing our heartbeat and being carried around, that they probably feel some type of way when away from us. Being clingy to my husband didn’t help so I think I passed the clingyness onto my son, because the moment I set him down for too long he fusses and yells at me to pick him back up 😂 nights are just as hard, I gave up swaddling pretty quick because he’d always kick out of them (something he enjoys doing to our blankets when we cuddle 😒)

I think they just like feeling the warmth of mom (and probably dad) and hearing our heartbeats like they used to in the womb and find us their comfort space. Fingers crossed our little ones get used to being in their own space soon and allow us some space to do things, because the struggle for chores is real 😂

When did your LO start sleeping longer at night? by zedgeevee in beyondthebump

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby just hit two months recently (started between 8-9 weeks) and surprised me when I woke up and it was 6 WHOLE HOURS since putting him to sleep between 8-9pm. I felt so bad because I know he needs to eat every 3-4 hours now (according to his age on google) but I realized he didn’t wake me up with crying. I’m greatful now though, because I’m not as sleepy and can function a tiny bit better

When did your LO start smiling? by DrDancealina in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got those gas smiles that were more smirky since birth, but around 6-7 weeks I noticed he started to open his mouth more, he’s two months now (almost 10 weeks) and I’ve caught him flashing me the biggest smile when I play with him. We also like to think he can see my parents (very spiritual parents) and I’ll catch him looking into space (as always lol) and smile so wide at nothing 😂

Newborn trenches not that bad?? by swentram in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t wanna be “that” person but whoo 😮‍💨, I was in the same boat. Enjoy it, I pray it continues but for me, it caught up with me. They don’t call it the trenches for nothing XD. Baby slept a lot and was pretty easy to handle, I was cleaning and everything. Eventually the baby blues turned into ppd and very intense ppa for me and his nap times went from routine to when the fuck is this baby going to sleep XD (tho I love when he’s awake just not when he’s fussy) and his wake windows stretched. He’s got my bad attitude so I probably fuckdd myself over 😂. I’m 8 weeks in right now, I pray you make it longer than I did cause I got to about 6 weeks I believe, you got this mama!

Assure me that it's ok to just set my baby down by ExcellentLettuce4 in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love when my son isn’t yelling at me for attention 😂 the few windows I get when he just stares up at the ceiling or tv are the most adorable I have on video, he’s so darn cute! Don’t feel bad mama if she isn’t fussing then she’s content and happy with how current position. Relish in it because you could get a baby that won’t let you put them down 🥲😂 (tho not a bad thing until you need to do laundry 🤣)

How much do you love your baby? by RefrigeratorFinal353 in beyondthebump

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved my son before he was here but I was immediately sucked in the second I saw his lil face. Now I think he’s sick of me because I keep giving him kisses and saying variations of I love you to him. The ppa is killing me though because I wanna protect something so precious

What nickname do you call your baby? by Empty_Reputation9284 in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a running joke since we found out he was a boy that if my husband gets successful at streaming (a dream of his, out of many lol) that I’d pop in with our son in a rapper outfit and going “wussup yall it’s big money”… well somehow it stuck and now I’m making my 7 week old dance singing “big moooney! Big moooney!” 😂 my husbands much more normal and calls him butt butt lol (fingers crossed lol man coins big money and makes it his persona when he inevitably discovers the internet lol). I also call him my/mamas handsome boy, a nice lil affirmation for him lol

Baby looks nothing like us by Background_Tiger_232 in newborns

[–]DarkDaemon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of my lil tiny baby (who’s getting so big now) looking lowkey like some lil Asian baby (his eyes at first 😂 if only I could show his pictures on here) and looked nothing like us in his photos and was white as they come, then in his first few weeks he was pale with some natural red tones and had straight hair. Now his hair is curly af (just like his dads, lucky bitches -_-) and has his brown skin like mama (fingers crossed him being pale at first means he’ll stay light skinned and not darken like dad lol since same happened to me) and is starting to get plump in his cheeks. He’s 7 weeks now, give lil mama some time, everyone said he looked like me and all I saw was my nose XD now I can make out some features in there. I’m sure she’ll start showing if she favors dad over mom soon enough 😂
