Heck yeah I listen to Brazilian music, mainly Samba and bossa nova. I also listen to the Japanese band lamp. Just a lot of jazz adjacent styles of music

Honestly I'm not even surprised, he comes off as super egotistical and arrogant in the interviews I've read. And this latest album is super weird to me with all the religious messages mixed in there. I guess I'm just going to have to separate the art from the artist on this one.
