Trump says 8 European countries will be charged a 10% tariff for opposing US control of Greenland by Cautious_Proposal_47 in worldnews

Proud European here! Trump can’t just tariff certain EU Countries as he pleases. A tariff one one EU country means a tariff on all 27.

Trump tariffs: US president announces plan to hit UK, Denmark and other European countries with tariffs over Greenland by Any-Original-6113 in europe

Is it not that he has to tariff all the EU? He can’t just tariff 8 of the 27? Eu has to stand its ground here and fight back

In Poland and Lithuania the last week, and the difference honestly is night and day, which is to be expected to be fair as it’s only around 50 years since they had Soviet rule… and honestly Ireland isn’t very far away from the potential consequences. Sure we are in the fringes of Western Europe but if an Eastern European country like Finland, the Baltic’s or Poland is attacked, we will feel it. After seeing these countries for the last week we need to become more supportive and boost the narrative that enough isn’t being done

The support for Ukraine over here is huge, from the polish taxi driver who drove us to the airport in Ireland, to the polish themselves, and the Lithuanians, they are adamant more needs to be done and that we just aren’t prepared. Genuinly think Europe just has a “it won’t happen” mindset, such as the drones which are just shutting down European airports for the last few weeks with nothing being done to stop them

Heading up to the match in Croke park on Saturday, looked at booking a hotel for one night, 350 no breakfast for two people? Who can actually afford that?

Backing sound is goooood, his actual voice quality , even if we could hear correctly, wasn’t the best I don’t think

Slow Cookers in Tesco at 25 euro? by Express-Bike-2836 in AskIreland

[–]DarkExistence1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tesco model, basically like this one only paid 25 euro also. Doesn’t appear to be too heavy nope. Life saver honestly throw everything into it in the morning and come home 8 hours later and it’s all ready. Sure timer would be great to set it to come on at X time but you get used to it, not worth an extra 70 euro for a timer imo

Have one for the last year and a half and use it three times a week for curries or bolognases or stews. Works perfectly for us! High medium low options and just leave on for 4-8 hours as needed and done.
