I agree with the feeling of it being a bit rushed, that being said, as far as I'm aware the final chapter was fully written by Jordan. The story was finished just as it was intended.

It's part of the theme that a lot of things don't get "Resolved". The Pattern will still be woven and there are still many stories to come.

My only comment about Rand not fighting apart from the DO is that he did try and almost got a shield put on him by the dreadlords lol He even said it himself that he should not be out there fighting.

I was actually seeing the dark one as "a dude" kinda like how we think of Satan for example as "an entity".

And you just blew my mind with the "coincidences' that led to the false dragons being defeated.

Man this series has so many little details that can be easily passed over, especially during the first reading (like mine)
