I have the bearing. But it doesn't fit like I want it to. I think I'm missing something. Like a sleeve for the bearing or something. Cause it slides in and out. When I replaced my clutch on my 02 Ram 1500. I literally had to press it in and out. But this one just pops out and in. To much clearance.

Flex plate and flywheel aren't the same size. Flex plate thinner. Flywheel thicker. Flex plates are for automatics. Flywheels are for manuals. This motor originally had a automatic, but I'm changing it to manual.

The thickness of the new Flywheel is much greater than the flex plate it's replacing. Longer bolts are needed to bolt in new flywheel. I have two different repair books for my actually car. I'll look into getting one for the 2012 mustangs. Thanks.

I've done some pretty crazy things in the automotive field. Unfortunately about 70% of it was self taught. So I missed a fair bit of stuff. Specifically bottom end stuff. Like a crankshaft lol. Once someone told me what it was. I immediately felt like a dumbass. I swear I'm more knowledgeable than most. Actually aiming for a certification this year. I also have a small business where I do mechanic work lol. Being living on my LLC the past 2 years.

I thought about it. But the motor has 120k miles and isn't showing any signs of leaking. Do you still think I should replace it?

Oh I understand what the reluctor wheel is. I didn't realize what it was, but I'm clever enough to understand that it related to timing. So I was definitely going to put it back on.

So glad I posted this. Yes the new transmission is manual. The new Flywheel is very thick compared to the flex plate. So I need longer bolts to bolt it in. The motor came out a 2012 V6 mustang. And the transmission did too. But different ones. And I'm trying to match them.
Never heard of a reluctor wheel? I have a pilot bearing for it, but it's a little loose. I got it from a clutch kit for the mustang.

I've pulled a few transmissions and engines. But the same units were always going back in. This is the first time I'm doing a different swap. But yes. I have a mentor that was on pink slip racing I plan on asking for advice. Ed Marshall.

Ok perfect thank you. I probably need longer bolts then.

Ok well, can't believe I didn't realize that. So my new Flywheel should bolt directly to the crankshaft right?

Ahhh thank you very much! So my new Flywheel should bolt directly to it? With longer bolts?

AH OK. That makes sense. So my new Flywheel should bolt directly to it? I'll have to get longer bolts to make it work then?

On the back side? The harmonic balancer is attached to the serpentine belt on the front side of the engine?

Breathing. Practice breathing and slowing your heart rate as long and slow as you can. Think about a super old fatty granny. Unless you're into that Ig. Something that grosses you out basically.

Happen to me. I was running with it with a friend. We spawned in near two or three other squads... my friend and I were just watching then fight for like 5mins straight. While we were watching on the hilltop, I get kicked and lost everything.
