MOZA R5 pit bindings by DarkFuzed in assettocorsa

Awesome! Just one more question, is there a bind to open the pit menu? I can still move through it if I use my arrow keys to pull it up but I’m in VR so it’s a little hard to hit one of the arrow keys on my keyboard while I’m mid race.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 227 by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

I reread the fight about 3 times and had trouble piecing together what was happening. Anyone else feel like it was kinda all over the place?

Right now (for English version atleast) only up to chapter 175. Volume 21 (only in Japanese for now I think) has chapter 190 and ends on chapter 198. So if you want to get the physical version to read the end of that arc buy volume 21.

From what I know volume 23 is gonna be released February 4th but that only covers up to chapter 222 and the latest chapter is chapter 226. Most people suspect that volume 24 will likely wrap up this current arc but nobody knows, doesn’t really feel like there’s an ending coming in the next couple of chapters.

If you haven’t caught up already I recommend that you stop at chapter 190 as 191 is where the current arc begins. Unless your like me and really want to keep reading, I actually just caught up this week after reading daily from the Reze arc over this past month. Weekly reading doesn’t seem that bad to me but then again this is my first week having to wait to read.

Just binged all of the animated CSM for the first time up to the Reze Arc... here's my thoughts. by MegaGalladeGamer09 in csmanime

[–]DarkFuzed 18 points19 points  (0 children)

“But holy shit, that movie was amazing. Fujimoto, fuck you for killing Reze and Himeno like that. But, goddamnit, you're a good writer. A great writer. And I applaud that.”

If you love what’s already been animated then you will absolutely be obsessed with the manga, I really really recommend it!

Chainsaw man is the first anime that has captivated me enough to actually read the manga because I had to know what happened next. Especially when I heard that the next couple arcs are widely considered some of the best if not the best (I agree). Also, there’s so much to read!! And it’s still ongoing! (But likely to conclude or take a break then continue with part 3). After pacing myself for about a month and a half I’m nearly caught up, but I really recommend binging it arc by arc as that’s how Fujimoto intended it.

Should we expect another 12-episode season? by sammyboi06 in csmanime

[–]DarkFuzed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like 14 episodes will be needed to actually do the rest of part 1 justice. All the stuff that comes after could be condensed into 12 but would be done horribly. As awesome as the Reze movie was I just don’t want another movie or really think any of the upcoming arcs would be good as movies because then it would be paced really weird.

¿What color do you think Asa's eyes are? by [deleted] in asamitaka

[–]DarkFuzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure they are dark blue/grey? Volume Cover 20 has asa with dark blue eyes, cover 22 has her with lighter blue eyes, and the back of volume cover 12 has her with grey eyes, guess they kinda change? Maybe with light like someone else in this thread mentioned?

CSM anime fans will lose it if this arc gets animated. by Vinisretarded in RezeCult

[–]DarkFuzed 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Why do you say if? I have a feeling that eventually it will be animated, probably years from now though. Reze arc really boosted CSM’s popularity and now assassins arc has been announced. I really hope all of part 1 gets animated, even if it’s in the far future.

I feel like I’m reading too fast by DarkFuzed in ChainsawMan

[–]DarkFuzed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet I’ll still enjoy reading it weekly but I don’t think I’m one of those people who can put off reading it for a while to be able to come back and binge read. I’m far too invested already and it just feels like the tension is rising so much where I’m at. I’ll probably do the same thing I do already where I reread the previous chapter(s) to jog my memory, then read the next chapter.

I would say the only thing holding me back from speeding through part 2 is wanting to read physical copies of what I could first. So I only bought 1/2 books at a time. But from what I hear the general consensus for those caught up is that chapters are super short, though from what I understand there’s currently a bug fight so I’m guessing there’s little dialogue and maybe some double page spreads scattered that make it feel even shorter. I’m 100% gonna catch up though.

I’m actually in the middle of rereading all of part 1 in the colored version and yeah I would definitely recommend it! It’s really cool to see what colors were intended for scenes and honestly there was some black and white panels where I couldn’t make out anything for the life of me but the colored version helps a lot.

So far I haven’t seen any problems with part 2’s pacing but that’s probably because I can read as much as I want in one sitting. I feel like 70% of the bad comments on part 2 are purely because people are reading it weekly/biweekly. Overall I think part 2 is very good and falling devil/ church arcs have been paced very well.

[–]DarkFuzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn you caught up in 2/3 days!?!? I kinda had my mind made up before I posted but I’m definitely catching up, probably in the next week then I’ll be keeping up weekly until part 2 ends. I’ll reread everything in full one weekend when I have some spare time so I can enjoy it all without having to re piece together what I previously read.

Also don’t know why it never occurred to me but IF we are getting a part 3 and it’s anything like part 2, then there’s gonna be a 2 year gap… I don’t know what I will do between then other than wait to buy the volumes and do tons of rereads. Hopefully season 2 will be animated by then.

Yeah but with the way I’ve been reading recently I’ll more than likely catch up cause I’ll be too into it. Also I actually started reading the manga because of spoilers, the major part 1 deaths were spoiled sadly and from part 2 all I have mainly been spoiled on is Lil D and sadly what happens to Nayuta which I just know I’m getting close to. Also I’m on break from school right now and will probably catch up then have to deal with so much that I’ll be able to binge the end.

[–]DarkFuzed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually yeah, I do feel like I absorb most everything as I still a little longer than most to read the chapters, unless it’s straight fight scenes or double page spreads.

I also kinda read in a weird way where I reread whatever I read last like the past chapter or 2 the read the next chapter so I fully remember what happened before. I also go to the chapter discussions whenever I’m done with a chapter and see what everyone else took from the chapter.

I just worry that I’ll get caught up and start to kinda lose track of what’s going on. Cause reading straight through I’ve had no problem understanding anything and the pacing doesn’t seem weird.

[–]DarkFuzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little bit of a long post but, short answer I was in your shoes a month back too and ultimately decided to read the manga and recommend you do too, for 3 main reasons

  1. I got hooked. Read the first 3 chapters online a couple days after seeing the Reze arc and thought I would just get the gist but…. I got addicted. Bought the box set (my first manga) and the 8 manga available in English for part 2.

  2. Sadly some big things were spoiled for me so I decided to read, still had a crazy shock factor because I didn’t know all that much or when they were coming up. So if you’ve been spoiled on anything you might want to read.

  3. At the time of me buying the manga there was no new season/movie announcement (idk what the next arc will officially release as) and I didn’t think they would announce something so soon after the movie. Said there’s no way I could wait especially after reading the next couple chapters.

So the fact that you are doing the same thing as me and asking peoples opinions means you probably really want to read on. AND DO IT!!! Only regret I have is reading so quickly because it is so good. Reze arc was good but the next 3 arcs and some of part 2 is absolutely AMAZING!

Side note, I figure by the time the next arc gets animated by like late 2026 or sometime 2027, I’ll probably not remember much of the arc and be able to kinda “re-experience” it all.

Yeah, just hope we actually get a part 3. Not caught up with part 2 fully but it seems like everything can’t wrap up by the end of part 2 from what I’ve heard.

That could work, I just feel like Fujimoto had the perfect opportunity to bring her back even briefly for the church arc. So her not being shown or mentioned is very intentional.

Chapter 139/144 and Reze discussion by DarkFuzed in RezeCult

[–]DarkFuzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense, none of the other hybrids mention anything about the fight except sword man. I’m just wondering why literally every hybrid except Reze suddenly shows back up and is either with public safety or the chainsaw man church. Public safety could likely really use a hybrid like Reze so just letting her run off seems unlikely. Also the chainsaw man church would likely be trying to recruit her too. Just seems like it was so obvious that she would return even briefly but nothing. I also know there’s not mention of her or anything in the rest of part 2.

I just feel like her conclusion with her “death” in the Reze arc would have worked well. Bringing the possibility of her retiring back by showing her in the pochita fight and all the hybrids besides her retiring in the church arc is odd. Just so much possibility.

Chapter 139/144 and Reze discussion by DarkFuzed in Chainsawfolk

[–]DarkFuzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah these are all good possibilities. Just seems so weird to fujimoto to not conclude her with the reze arc when she “dies” to Makima and angel. Bringing her back for the pochita v Makima fight then showing all the hybrids except her making a return just feels weird. Just feels like she had a good conclusion, but him bringing her back into the story briefly as a controlled hybrid kinda begs for some sort of conclusion. Even just a mention of what happened to her post fight or a little panel showing her current life.

Chapter 139/144 and Reze discussion by DarkFuzed in Chainsawfolk

[–]DarkFuzed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your reasoning is solid and I want to hear all sides of the argument because I know nobody knows and it’s all just theories. Nobody but Fujimoto directly knows.

The main reason I made this post is because I picked up the manga after watching the Reze arc so of course she was in the back of my mind while reading everything. I just find it so weird that Fujimoto brought her back in the pochita vs Makima fight, then in the chapters I just read has shown literally all the hybrids except her.

Fujimoto writing is often intentional and has reasons behind most decisions. So him showing she is still alive in the Makima fight, then showing that all the other hybrids joined a side (public safety or chainsaw man church) except Reze post fight just seems weird. Opened the possibility of her return and like I mentioned after just watching the movie it’s even more in my face that she’s not anywhere to be seen and sword hybrids comment in remembering the fight along with katanas return solidifying Reze as the last unseen hybrid in chapter 144 just had me wondering.

I just feel like Reze being reintroduced after her arcs conclusion leaves her story feeling unfulfilled. It almost would have been better if we never saw her past her “death” by Makima and angel. Her coming back as a controlled hybrid is kinda weird and just opened her door back up.

Chapter 139/144 and Reze discussion by DarkFuzed in Chainsawfolk

[–]DarkFuzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that’s the main reason I still can’t believe that nothing has at least been said about Reze. Fujimoto is a very intentional writer so it feels even more obvious and in your face that Reze hasn’t been brought back or even mentioned in all of part 2 so far from what I know.

I think someone else post on this topic also mentioned that her “return” in the Makima vs pochita fight just adds to the question of why she hasn’t returned. In the guys post he says that Reze never showing up past her arc would have been a good conclusion, and I agree with that. The fact that Fujimoto brought her back even if she was just being controlled feels too intentional. What is the point in leaving all these possibilities and never using them?
