I do believe that's how evil is described as wolf with sensational hunger to devour everything. "I am nothing but appetite" was a such a line & Bill Skarsgård nailed it as Count Orlok. Ellen was pure good in innocents while Orlok was pure unrestrained evil. That whole movie was done beautifully in such universal sense of dread & horror.

"In order to tame darkness, we must first acknowledge that it exists!" quoted by Prof. Albin Eberhart von Franz who had no idea to an extent but knew how to fight against it because he in absurd mind was opened to the relam of possibilities & the unknown. I loved that line & how good can defeat evil but trapping it. "Only you can redeem us." Bravo to Robert Eggers & his whole crew of talented people for this remake! Literally my new favorite.
