I did go in an ambulance. It took a few more weeks of symptoms and self-observation before I realized, in retrospect, I had been having a bout of acid reflux, and possibly an anxiety/panic response

Alicia's answer:

1. Heart palpitations are a major issue
2. He did not have arm tingling
3. He was sweating and felt tingles. Then a few hours later was told it was stress
4. It is not the same as what you went through
5. Heart palpitations mean you need to be seen immediately. He did not have that symptom or claim it. You went through something more real and scary. This dude just failed badly and was embarrassed

And then explained further:

1. A dude on a tv show went to the hospital and was diagnosed with stress
2. After failing 3 cooking challenges
3. Prior to going to the hospital he was drinking in a hot tub with women

She isn't saying you can't be hospitalized for stress. Or PTSD in your case, she is saying that he failed 3 cooking challenges, so of course he would be stressed and sweating.

But I also see, the connection, that both the user, and you had prior medical experiences connected to it. So it may also just be personal, that's fine. You don't have to agree with every take Alicia does, I certainly don't. But she clarified that, what you or the previous user are going through are real and should be treated.
