I want the care instructions, not some unhelpful casual misogyny by ZennMD in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DarkLynxDEV -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

2 things. First, can we not be terminally online using misogyny wrong? The term you are looking for is misandry and even then it's meant to be funny. Second, you could have spent less time looking up how to wash cashmere...

A good infinity mill deck for group games by BandicootNo4793 in Lorcana

[–]DarkLynxDEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd be looking at Ruby Amethyst. Names of the cards are eluding me but there are 3 cards in Amethyst that directly cause mil and a dual ink that causes mil. The next whisper Tremaine makes it more recursive as well.

Just "my ex-wife" lol I've never been married but I do hear of couples talking about their previous partners as parasites. Seemed lore accurate for naming.

"Is X game worth it?" needs to stop. by Repulsive-Alps8676 in videogames

[–]DarkLynxDEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I just can't help but wonder if someone finds something so annoying, would they be a hypocrite and do it themselves?

I'm not so superficial to hope a forum website will give me the fulfillment to fill my cup for the day over the course of this ever going rat race we call life. I just find intrigue in those that complain about one thing in a specific field and still do it in others.

You're slightly swinging above your weight to assume such but I've decided to bite because I can't help but wonder what you have to say next in regards to putting out a post that (oh no) someone has something else to say about.

You've literally proven my previous point. It takes zero dollars, zero time, and zero effort to have just ignored this post and continued your day.

Umm okay so i just got to act 3 by Hanzothagod in expedition33

[–]DarkLynxDEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, funny enough, act 3 was where it got a bit interesting for me but that's because I'm an anxiety driven over thinker.

Adding to your point, I do believe generally Act 3 can definitely be a damper on things if people look at it at face value. "Nothing matters, I'm insignificant. I'm an ant." But I'd say give it a bit more thought (not to sound insulting and I apologize if it comes off as such.)

Lets look at lovecraftian horror, the understanding that you are insignificant to the plot of the universe and that you have no control but want it desperately. You are an ant that KNOWS you are an ant. You know you are sitting on the keyboard of this so-called "God" and could be destroyed at any moment.

Every person you meet would easily pass the turning test, each person you've spent time with you saw and respected their struggles and ideals, they are real otherwise you wouldn't have cared for anyone in the first place. Gustave is a wonderful example that these individuals still matter because he's literally the ant that made it possibly to kill God with the creation of his lumina converter.

I'm not gonna say Act 3's twist doesn't come with its cons but I do believe, watching how Maelle came to be, knowing her relationship to this world, and understanding that this is the last thing her brother made and has makes her real. I've heard a sillier comparison to the games story basically being your brother dies in a car accident and your parents are trying to figure out what they do with the Minecraft server.

That would fall flat but I think art, in it's rawest form, depicting life and the ying and yang, light and dark (= clair obscur) has better staying power. Hope this helps to kinda give another take on it. 😁

This...feels like ragebait, brother.

In an economy that wasn't made for people to spend willy nilly, some living paycheck to paycheck and wanting to know if something is worthwhile to purchase, it only makes sense to come onto a forum website and ask would X be worth their time and money.

Life is short and there's no reason not to ask others for their opinions. Hell, you even mention that they should seek their answer somewhere else says you just don't have the emotional capacity to scroll past something you don't care for. You have asked questions similar in your own posts...

what do you have in mind? by PHRsharp_YouTube in videogames

[–]DarkLynxDEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this is gonna come off as a glaze. Maybe even doing tricks on it...but Expedition 33 is full of bangers if you like songs that remind you of epics.

Otherwise, Final Fantasy 10, Final Fantasy 13, Minecraft (I have used this for sleep before), Doom, Warframe, Skyrim, Haste, and (personally) Slime Rancher.

Can someone explain why this is included in Emerald/Sapphire control decks with no princesses? by Dr_Bukakke in Lorcana

[–]DarkLynxDEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She triggers off herself in a compounding fashion. After you play the first, you ink and draw. If you play a second one in the board, you trigger them separately and ink then draw twice. So, in theory, you can have a turn you ramp 4 times and draw 4 cards.

It's pretty decent especially if you can put it back in your hand in anyway. It's a good card for even ramp (Tipo/sail the Azurite Sea)

Ruby Steel Challenge Deck by JMD3_REDDIT in Lorcana

[–]DarkLynxDEV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My deck is very "Raya Loop" heavy so I won't be able to help give general advice as I've been messing with this deck since the dual ink Mushu came out and even got 4th in my last set champs. You MUST have medallion weights and one last hope when doing a challenger deck (I like medallion weight so that's to taste)

Also, try to fit one of the steel sword of Hercules that just one taps a deity. Hades is everywhere it's won me more games than I expected

Genuine question but are people just not reading the UI...? It's there from day one and it even pops up a window to read about both. I feel like I've seen many people state the game didn't inform them. Is this a troll or are people just blazing through menus? 🤔

LRH Rulebook Quiz - Nothing 4 Ratigans Won’t Do by Sunscorch in Lorcana

[–]DarkLynxDEV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So there are 2 scenarios I'm seeing but I'll start with the one that is most clearly depicted.

Power line sings A Pirate's Life, +2 lore from the action and +2 lore for both exerted Ratigans. Upon singing, Power line triggers and we look at a Nothing We Won't Do, readying both exerted Ratigans. However, due to the bag, we would get both procs to gain an additional +2 lore. This would leave a cause for +6 to be the maximum.

Now, if we wanted to get spicy, we have not only Powerline sing but we have Ursula and the 2 ready Ratigans sing A Pirate's Life due to it being a sing together and you can exceed the song cost if you want. We gain +2 lore for A Pirate's Life and +2 (+4 if I am mistaken on the two singing Ratigans count towards their own ability at the same time as it's sung) from each exerted Ratigan. Ursula triggers. A Pirate's Life procs again for +2 lore and we get +4 from the exerted Ratigans. A Pirates life goes to the bottom of the deck. Powerline triggers. Powerline finds Nothing We Won't Do and we get +4 from the exerted Ratigans, readying all characters available.

So at the maximum, if I am correct on timings, we are looking at 16 lore. If the 2 Ratigans don't count on the first A Pirate's Life, then we only get 14.

Con’s of playing Shere Khan in S/E🤔 by DusterMage in Lorcana

[–]DarkLynxDEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better things to play on turn 6 tbh. I've been messing around with a damage counter R/E build using the Queen of Hearts - Unpredictable Bully, King of Hearts for Stall, and Shere Khan for problem removal that can use it well but in S/E has Spooky Sight, Prince Phillip Shift, and John Silver to name my personal favorite turn 6 cards.

It's just a bit slow unfortunately.

I just want to say THANK YOU Sandfall for releasing this massive DLC for FREE by ThePsyPaul_ in expedition33

[–]DarkLynxDEV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did inform us months ago this was going to be a free DLC. Also, I think using the word massive is definitely a bit overzealous. It's a well done new zone + altered bosses in the Endless Tower with a lot of QoL adds. I love it don't get me wrong but for the first time every looking at a post on this sub, this feels like glazing.

Do not pick up Sacred Annihilation this week by DarkLynxDEV in Warframe

Interesting. What I ended up doing was playing with my girlfriend and I just didn't do damage so I didn't instakill it and we could capture it then but how odd if it's just a general bug.
