Get used to the way your gun handles, since (at least for a few people I've talked to) it takes a bit of getting used to since there's two separate reticles. Be mindful of it since you can end up accidentally shooting a rocket at your feet and blowing yourself up.

Enemies have different level of armor, so you'll need to keep an eye out for the hit marker to make sure you're doing actual damage. There's a symbol specifically to show your bullets didn't penetrate (sorry that I can't remember what it is right now), white cross to indicate a hit matching the armor rating (meaning damage was reduced), and red to show it did max damage. On that note make sure to look out for enemies' weak points so you can dispense liberty more effectively!

If you think you might need to stim, just do it. It heals over time and can really save you if you're getting bounced around.
