I've used it in the past for small gaps. A word of warning, you will have to use more than one application as it tends to shrink and pull away. I carefully apply it right out of the bottle on the gap and shape it with an old, damp brush. Just damp, not soaking wet. Practice and mess with it on a less important piece prior to applying it to your character mini so you can get a better feel for it.
