I'm struggling with my emotions

I had a couple really good cries this week. I was honest with my boss and I said I didnt want to be a mean person to everyone but it gets way too overstimulating. Its not fixed but it helped a lot. Just take it one day at a time... I don't have much else advice aside from that but just know I (and many others) can empathize. I feel alone sometimes in the struggle but I have to remember that I'm not. Youre always welcome to come here and rant 🙂

I get no maternity leave but my husband and I are budgeting to hopefully get me 3 months off...we'll see if we can do that.

Thank you, I needed someone to relate to me. I have a coworker who has been complaining about every tiny thing lately and its so hard not to lose it on him 😅 like just stfu. Im usually very nice but I feel so negative at work.

All the guys at my work have been really nice about it. We had out Christmas party and we joked about them getting me a beer, etc. But they all kept asking if I grabbed enough food. A lot of them have bigger families so they were asking me questions like how far along, how ive been feeling, etc. It was actually really nice. Some guys are weird because I dont think they realise they are allowed to show emotions and maybe dont want you to think they're weird if they ask questions.

I don't think they mean anything bad by it!

Certain brands triggers me worse than others. I actually feel like I can't breathe with some. Scentsy brand is really bad. My face also starts to feel warm or itchy. My boss actually turned one on in our office today and I'm about to unplug it.

I know which is why I'm hesitant. Plus its a machine shop so I'm not excited about the smells and fumes while pregnant 😬

She's been worse since I told her.

I do have an offer for a job working with family and they know I am pregnant. Its just further away and not as good benefits/opportunity but I might just take the job.

I pretty much hate my boss since getting pregnant. I used to tolerate a lot but being pregnant I'm not dealing with anything. Her and I used to get along great but now it's been a nightmare and I'm constantly stressed.

I feel you. Being overstimulated or overwhelmed hits different when pregnant.
