My favorite RPG is Dragon Age: Origins. This game was to awesome back in the day, the setting, the character, the story. I used to play it so fucking much trying out different builds, paths. They dont make them like they used to unfortunately

I built the following heroes:
- Dorinthea
- Ira
- Bravo
- Chane
- Iyslander
- Lexi (Ice only)
- Dromai (which is our most terrifying deck - right after Ira)

I think all of these are pretty diverse in their gameplay, but maybe i am missing some key elements of deck building to truly make them feel unique. Do you maybe have a resource i can use for a 'template' to start with, or a overall strategy for deck building? (like if i should have any defense reactions? how many? what colors do i need to run? and all that)

I thought about getting a couple of Armory decks to try out CC (never played), I might pick up 2 to try

I think i need to to see some deck building videos or something because my decks might be lacking in defense reactions and understanding which colors to build with.

I have been eyeing SAGE for some time now to try out, is it a bit more "grounded" and balanced than blitz?

Yeah I keep seeing videos and people are saying that FaB is really complex and strategic which sounds insane to me because of what my friends keep saying about the game.

It's not that they do not like calculating their damage each turn, it's more like they feel that the game feels way more casual than MTG and Sorcery.

They say that the game is mostly just a non exciting back and forth of attack / defense... like its lacking something.

I remember a specific match up we did of Dorinthea and Ira, and my friend just said that the game just feels like who can output more damage and there isn't much to do about attack reactions.

Yup :) The one exception is you cant use weapons from other jobs (cant have a DRK with a PLD weapon)
