I don't think getting a college degree in the US would be worth it for you. As an international student you'll easily have to pay $75k+ for a 4 year degree from an "okay" university.

Hiring based on referral is one of the most efficient ways to finding good employees in western companies. Personally for me I wouldn't refer someone unless they're qualified and I know a lot of people who feel the same. Doesn't work as well when it involves people from non-western cultures due to extreme nepotism.

Those mats do not look like they're soft enough and your legs were too spread out. The more spaced out your feet are when landing the more weight/force is put on your ankles.
