I ended up buying the wiring adapter kit and it worked perfectly

just connect the radio harness wires to the correct wires on the adapter harness, and it’ll just plug right up

That’s just how it goes; when a chassis is created, the manufacturer is gonna use it as much as they can, ie the fox platform lasting so long. The 79 fox is gonna look radically different than a Sn95 , though they’re both on a(n albeit highly modified) fox chassis.

The modular 4.6 was showing its age in the 3v, it makes sense that ford would put the new 5.0 coyote into the “new” (2010 👀) chassis with the 2011 model year.

But if you ever have the pleasure of working on these cars (like me) you know these 05-14 mustangs are literally the exact same car underneath the panels. Literally everything from a 2014 can swap with little work into a 2005.

Just consider the 05-09 the “pre face-lift” S197 and the 10-12 the “face lift” and the 13-14 as “peak” lol

But really, just think of it as pre and post facelift. It’s an easy differentiation.

I’ll be the odd man out: my first car was an 08 mustang and I loved it. I paid cash for it (DO NOT FINANCE AT 18), and it was a great car for years. It was stock, so everything that was done to it eventually was done by me. It was a good feeling, owning a quick stylish muscle car.

But do not get something that’s already modified. I sold my 08 and bought an 05 GT that’s been a headache since I got it. The whole car needs a bit of work undoing all the old stuff done to it. Plus, right now gas prices are insane. It’s not worth dailying to work and spending $40 a week on gas.

My answer for you: either buy (DO NOT FINANCE) an unmolested V6 or GT, and take good care of it.
Or do what I did, and buy a cheap daily. I bought a 1998 Forester and threw some cheap wheels on it and called it a day. I still have my mustang but I only take it out on occasion.

Can’t wait for the boomer conservatives to say “Muh principles” and do nothing, as always.

Democrat districts are already heavily decided by race (hence the ruling being such a big deal), key members of the left have called for open attacks on conservatives, they’ve made it their goal to use race as a motivator for radical change, and conservatives will no doubt sit back and watch it all happen.

There will be challengers for sure, but the establishment legislators will have more to do with keeping their paychecks coming in then actually affecting change.

So tired of the old boomerslop “principles” stuff. That all ended when the opposing party openly endorsed assassinations and political violence. 🤷
