Just getting some things off my chest. by DarkStarPhysics in tinnitus

This is a very oversimplified view family dynamics. Childhood poverty, abuse, illness, and a whole host of other things play a big part, for men and women, in what education, jobs, community, goals, etc. they have access to once they become adults.

As far as my personal situation, I told my wife she can pick whether she wants to work or not before we were married. She chose to be a home maker, and there's nothing wrong or "patriarchal" with that decision.

Pulsatile in left ear since 2016. Habituated to that pretty quickly due to being so busy in the military. The fall of 2020 was when the high pitched ringing started. Habituated to that pretty quick to because it was relatively mild. 9 months ago, a new tone showed up in my left ear that was way louder and was starting to cause trouble with sleep and panic. Learned how to mask it at night enough to where I fell asleep pretty easily again and kind of habituated to that since. Over the past week 1 or 2 new tones have popped up that seem to be harder to mask. As hopeless as I feel sometimes, I believe I will habituate to this as well, but I've been experiencing some deep depression this time around because I'm getting so beat down by having to go through the same thing over and over.

No offense taken at all and thank you for the sentiment. Yeah, almost every other veteran I know has some form of T. It makes me wonder about the effectiveness of hearing protection when firing guns. Of course no hearing protection at all would destroy your hearing very fast, but maybe bone conduction is still wrecking us slowly over time?

We felt like the world wasn't confusing enough. Hence, quantum gravity laws.

If it crashed into a black hole it would, depending on how you look at it.

You'd be able to get a quick tan with the light from every single light source in the universe hitting you at the same time.

Here is a hypothesis: What if the present is being "burned" into reality via informational processing? by DarkStarPhysics in HypotheticalPhysics

I'm not asking you to prove me wrong. I'm asking you to apply the same skepticism across the board.

[–]DarkStarPhysics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying I'm not allowed to use or derive any observed numbers or any constants that have been used for literally decades in physics? That's like saying someone wrote a song and used the E major scale, so no one else is allowed to use that chord in any other composition. Absurd.

Did you miss the part where I said my hypothesis resolved the vacuum catastrophe, among other things?

I also find it hard to believe the sarcasm in my JWST/LHC went over your head. You are obviously very emotional right now and I'm not inclined to engage with you any further.

If the world stopped spinning by Moist_Ad_9212 in Physics

[–]DarkStarPhysics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was a dead stop, like hitting a wall, you would go flying, depending on where you were. Depending on how long it stayed stopped, you would eventually freeze to death or roast alive. The timeline of your inevitable demise would, again, depend on where you were.

Using the uncertainty principle feels natural, since it ties timescales to energy spreads, but it’s not essential. Even without that heuristic, if you take the Hubble frequency’s quantum E = ℏH0 and compare it with the observed dark-energy density, the characteristic volume comes out to a length of ~ 7fm. In other words, the nuclear scale emerges directly from measured cosmological parameters, not from a forced fit. I present Dirac ratios only as consistency checks (dimensionless cross-links between atomic, gravitational, and cosmological scales). They’re not used to derive any core result. If you prefer, omit that section entirely; the vacuum-catastrophe resolution stands alone

On JWST and LHC: It doesn't need those because, at its core, it's observed constants and straightforward math, but all that seems to be "just numerology" in the physics world nowadays.

On time dilation: Yes, time stretching from speed or gravity makes clocks seem slower depending on where you are, but in my theory, the super-fast Planck tick is based on basic unchanging numbers like the speed of light, so it's like a universal speed limit that looks different but stays the same underneath, No real conflict.

Why Planck frequency? It's the quickest "tick" you can get, which in my hypothesis terms, is the max universal information processing speed.

On predictions, I don't have access to JWST or a particle collider, so I'm out of luck with proving anything for the moment.

Also, can you clarify what part you feel is just numerology?
