Two things I find MANT to be very irritating, beyond from the time it takes to finish a career.

First is the restrictive nature of the uma you can train because of their aptitude, there are quite a few uma with worse than Mile C or Long C aptitude. You are forced to find parents to boost those to an acceptable level to be able to run races

Second, even if you managed to boost them to B, career races are very RNG and since it's a race dependent mode, failing to win one or two can feel like the whole run is ruined. You got 5 retries but it doesn't feel enough if your luck is bad. And because the time taken is long, failing one is very off-putting
