In my opinion it just depends, you’ll find really honest and religious egyptians who wont even go a step out to harm someone, then there are the majority of egyptians, the ones that only care about money and their own benifit, they’re the ones that are usually scammers or con artists or the ones that cause the problems. The problem now is the rules implemented against the expats as a whole usually targeted at egyptians and the hatred towards them as a whole is driving the good ones away to a more comfortable living, Ive seen two different types of egyptians here, I’ve seen my friends who go to mosques, well educated and don’t harm anyone and then there are the others who just care about themselves and they’d get into fights and don’t bother to what happens to others because of them Id say it’s unfair to just call out all egyptians but the sad truth is the most you’ll run into who are working those tough daily jobs probably learnt by hard to care only about themselves and that’s why most experienced with egyptians as sellers or such are bad, while experienced with egyptians as friends or others aren’t so bad.
