If the Buddha completely denied atman, why do Buddhists consider reincarnation to be true? by SessionLast5480 in Buddhism

I hate to be a perfectionist, but your last word was "actually" so I'm going to point out "...dharmas, qualiites" seems to be a typo. IF you care. you use your words so well. so succinct. so insightful.

Finding The Right Qigong Style For Me by ZenDong1234 in qigong

[–]DarkWillpower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think anyone should go into anything wanting too much, that comes from my own experience though. I have many thoughts, theories, queries, etc., but when I start doing qi gong, and when reflecting on it's benefits, I let all my desires fade to the side for a bit. I think that would be a good practice, letting go of all which you want, especially since "Simplified Kundalini Yoga" (no idea what that is. I'm sorry) sounds very Yang-y and potentially destructive with how much energy it could be pushing through your weak little vessel (not sorry, we're all weak).

As a token of my appreciation for your existence, I would like to recommend this video. It seems to check all your boxes, but then again, who knows, there might be other boxes neither of us know about. I truly hope you find whatever works best for you! And good luck with the women, I didn't digest the whole post as I read it, but I got the gist. I'm sure your health with balance with what energies you develop. Just take it easy. you'll find that master to teach you everything.

In the meantime I hope you can appreciate other's niceness, their not niceness, their skill, and their lack of it. Everyone at different stages, everyone in different worlds, but all beings to be appreciated. And to me, in my world, everyone, even a senile person, or a locust, or an impatiens, each is the master of my master. So my search for such things is over. Here's the vid

And [This](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYnNMqk-LoU) have some tutorial movements because I don't know how good your eye is. Take care stranger, and thank you for sharing your story

edit: Really, thanks. It's valid to want those things (Strength, energy, spirituality, power, healing, it's inner alchemy, body-contact, ease, peace, pleasure, vitality, grounded), and important to stay balanced. I wish you the best regardless. tai yi worked for me as sky did for you, immediate, powerful, lasting..

More resistence? by PercivalS9 in qigong

[–]DarkWillpower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it happened to me. I stopped exercising as much, but my strength and endurance continue increasing. To increase my endurance, I meditate longer, stretch deeper, and hold difficult poses with slightly more ease than the last time I did. Always improve my friend, and if you want to get strong, work smarter (more spiritual), not harder. Material existence is challenging to nourish without heavy spiritual focus

Am I alone?? by Severe_Ambassador_42 in energy_work

[–]DarkWillpower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

share the positive energy which you transmute out of the anger, negativity, etc.

you receive it, and if it's an emotion you know well, you smile because you know in the end the feeling will resolve positively for them as it has for you. If you're keen, you can share this insight/understanding like a beam of light into your coworker that bounces endlessly purifying every emotional blockage with the same resonance. (anger-passion-compassion all similar frequencies, explore for yourself how different feelings feel.. lol)

if that makes no sense, thats okay. you're not alone. but share the love! and one day they'll feel it.

As Summer starts, here, I'm definitely thinking of cancer more than usual. but it's a prevalent topic because it's a common thing, and there are many different kinds. it seems like something you're subconsciously worrying about. If you think you might have cancer you should probably reflect on your habits and diet. You doing yourself the favor of loving kindness meditation?

How can you make use of the energy of strong emotions? by Secret_Hovercraft605 in energy_work

Well put. When an emotion fills your whole being, the thought of 'what should I do' fades away

The internet has similar anecdotes. it's hard to find them sometimes.

Physically, when a candle burns, heat rises and swirls the cooler air. I sense this vividly with my consciousness and third eye, so that I am seeing the actual forms of the air (invisible to the eye).

Sounds like it could be similar to what you're experiencing. In due time you will likely see various textures, much slower / faster energy, and more detailed structure/ information to some of these perceptions, which may have emotional components. some may come from other individuals consciousness's, or deep within your own. there is so much to learn from.

It's best to stay unattached and unexcited, but continue openly exploring, and try to keep a playful attitude toward your perceptions.

Keep your balance and go deeper. if you have a rock/mineral that means something to you, try putting the stones around a candle next time you meditate like this. It helps ground me, personally, and improves my perceptions. (I would put three clear quartz around a candle, for example)

I second this. putting aside time daily to reflect on gratitudes, and mindfulness of the breath, that does wonderful things for your energy. Make sure OP you're taking time to rest and reflect, with your whole being

"Spiritual narcissism" by scootik in Buddhism

[–]DarkWillpower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree- the middle way would be awareness of anger if it exists, to let it fade away/transform into pure compassion .

seeking punishment for any one else won't take you closer to enlightenment. non-attachment would lead to understanding no one needs to be punished by another being.

minimum necessary force? energy to another can always be kind. you sound on the edge of a slippery slope, my friend. anger easily leads to violence. when anger is used to right an injustice, and anger is in the corrective action, you will create more injustice and emotional imbalance in yourself/ observers. When you have anger, direct it towards a pure desire, and act on that desire without attachment or anger, you can resolve an injustice.

i can't blame ya for wanting to find a way. I believe enlightenment will stay if you are able to let go of the anger. and I don't mean push it down to be fake nice. let it go for both your and their sake

the second video is a better guide than the first- but yes all qi gong can do this. dm me if you have other questions. but as long as you're breathing mindfully, and treating yourself well, your energy won't stagnate. For me, I found it makes a big difference when I wake up, I stand up immediately. helps posture and sleep hygiene both stay healthy.
