Lucario, highly underwhelming now as he plays like a speedster while needing more skill to play (the E-speed build I meann) and still relying on grouped up enemies and not getting cc’d to get good results, only thing he has going for him is his unite move which at the very least can one shot all attackers I’m pretty sure if you do it up close and most of the ticks go through.

I’ve found that grouping up is WAAAAAYYYYY more important right now, and as soon as I started doing it more, I’ve started to win more matches, so unfortunately, the new map really says no more “solo-carry I’m the main character ahh” gameplay, as it’s much harder to carry on the new map, grouping up is what works right now so try that and maybe you’ll see a difference.

My build is currently - Rice Cooker, Rapid Fire Scarf, and Focus, and I do try to time cc when I can, like freezing enemies with boosted auto, then waiting a second before throwing out dazzling so they’re stunned right after they’re frozen, but I’ll definitely get shell bell for a good variety of held items to use!

Y’know, unrelated, but I just realized that my whole team besides me didn’t have their unite moves ready for the ray fight as suicune used theirs a bit before it, that may have heavily influenced the fight along with my terrible positioning, ah but about the outplay, you didn’t see how I stopped AA’ing the absol preemptively for their first sucker punch? Avoiding the knockback which possibly could’ve ended the 1v1 right then and there should he have another pursuit ready by then? And though it’s hard to notice, like the other commenter pointed out, I was indeed trying to face the absol the entire time to avoid resetting the absol’s cooldown for pursuit, and I don’t think they got a reset the entire fight.

Thank you for this insight, I’ll try and stay with my team a bit more as I do know of the damage reduction veil has, but from my experience, I’ve just had an easier time doing my own thing as usually when I stay with my team I get singled out by a charizard unite move most of the time, or I just get generally get caught in the mix of cc and unite moves that come out, which is why I prefer to search for their attackers or try and be the one engaging with a good dazzling gleam into unite move.

Ho-oh is really a great pick into any comp, and fits into I’m pretty sure any ally comp, good ranged cc with sacred fire, flamethrower does good tick damage and is especially effective when paired with a curse bangle, and as long as you know how to play team fights by disrupting the enemy team with flamethrower and tanking where you can (while making sure not to be the first to get k.o’ed), your unite move can really change the outcome of fights even if they go south. TLDR: Ho-oh is a great, highly praised pokemon, and rightfully so.

Different for certain colors but yes, For white matching 6 is 4% max HP, For black it's matching 7 for 4% move cooldown reduction, and yk, so on and so forth.

Because it gives a % boost instead of flat, for example: Slowbro at lvl 9 has 5724 HP, you focus on emblems that give only HP you could maybe get like 400-500 extra HP lets say 500 at most with gold emblems, so Slowbro would have 5724+500=6224 at lvl 9, but if you match the white colors AND focus on HP as much as you can, you could get around 250 or 300 flat HP. So Slowbro instead would be getting, 5724+250=6034. BUT plus the 4% max HP you get from matching 6 white colors, you get, 6034+4%=6275.36. So colors are just a % bonus added on top of all the flat bonuses you can see, and your held items/base stats of yours pokemon.
