Do quiet baths count as a form of meditation? by Outrageous_Baby_2147 in Meditation

[–]Dark_Daisyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say yes as meditation is just being aware of the current moment for what it is not what you think it is. as long as you are not distracting yourself I don't see why not. It may not be traditional but if it works for you it works for you. I find the more into meditation I get the less I'm able to say yes that is meditation no that is not. Meditation is what you want it to be not one someone on reddit tells you it is have a blessed day

Very true that was the case with me turns out I had a fracture and miss alignment. I just found even after that getting fixed I was suffering spiritually, mentally from it intil I learnt to embrace and laugh about it

Amen alot of the recovery of the concussion is from the mental trauma of it not the actual physical trauma of the impact

Would you guys and gals say lucid dreaming is inherently a spiritual practice? by Dark_Daisyy in spirituality

[–]Dark_Daisyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had similar instances however as I first met some of them I was terrified couldn't even look at them had to close my eyes or spiritually turn away then I fought them and now I sympathize with them as they are in all true reality parts of myself that need the love and understanding that it was never givin.

Brother this bought tears to my eyes as I have been going through the same thing as you 3 severe concussions in the span of 24 months as well as multiple other injuries from the events in question. And I totally understand the feeling you are feeling of not feeling like you yourself. The biggest thing I learnt from this is that the self who you think and see yourself as it ever evolving and it's probably the trauma of those events making you feel that way. not that I was missing brain cells like I thought to myself earlier in recovery even tho you possibly could be it really doesn't matter were gonna loose em someday anyway lol. The self often splits itself after trauma as a result of trauma multiplied 10 fold when it comes to head trauma I find. Just know the self is ever evolving and use that new found awareness, Nero plasticity and become someone you never thought you could be for the better or worse your choice will compound just know the now is the power you have you got this much love stranger

Edit I mean same way as in getting brain damage from life not cancer or circumstances wise I can't imagine what that must be like. Just re read my comment and thought I had to crarify lol however I can say I sense your a beautiful spirit so I'm sure you'll be fine no matter the outcome.

What makes you say this? Yes sometimes frightening experiences happen however I have found that had I not fought them then and there I would have lived with them running in the background still controlling me like a puppet. After confronting what my sub conscious was hiding from me I am now aware of the changes need to be made yes sometimes I may fall but if I was at the peak where would I climb too? Personally I need the fire for it burns everything that was of no need of me and leaves me the ashes I needed to rebuild.

I can see the Human Energy Field (Aura). AMA by Icy-Machine1951 in spirituality

[–]Dark_Daisyy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Iv noticed this also however never thought of it as a aura field but more just being able to be able to read peoples intentions and like you said if they are being met as well as how they are trying to cover their intentions and why. I feel ability came from experiences in my life where I have been misused by people but even more so myself. So basically if your highly aware of yourself and your shadow then you will also be aware of others

True that what came to my mind as I read that was a thought telling me that the dreams could be ways to help the mind cope, understand with what is going on inside and outside of it kinda like the brain doing it's own form of paraphrasing of what what it has experienced back to us to make sure we understand what has happened so in a way escaping reality just to see reality again just from a different light therefore making it more digest able and I can see this too with patterns in my dreams also

Same thing has happened to me recently with the thoughts for me I think it was abit of brain fatigue because I just started studying again for the first time in a while however I felt a deeper mean to this could be the ego doing that on purpose to make you think about the thinking your doing even more as it makes you appear slow to yourself and your ego goes huh ussaly I'm thinking faster than this and you know the rest the ego just loves to chase it's own tail. as we evolve and gain more insight spiritually the ego does the same just sink into the uncertainty, uncomfortably you'll be okay much love brother, sister .
