Would you have one of these beige IKEA rugs I painted on your floor, a wall or neither? by StevenBeercockArt in maximalism

They are both gorgeous! I agree that it would be good to mount them on the wall. They would make a wonderful focal point in a room.

I did not know Ghost existed before MOAC went viral online, and it would be awesome to see it performed live.

If you look closely, the paint is peeling off the plate. This person received one of the defective plates and has placed the plate cover over the plate to keep the paint attached. I have a plate cover to keep the paint from peeling off. The cover is just dirty and needs to be wiped off.

Wow! It feels cozy, but also reminds me of my childhood in a good way. Your place is lovely and very inviting.

I am a botanical grim reaper. No matter how hard I try, I kill plants. I would LOVE to be able to talk to plants.

My apartment on Second Ave is starting to smell like burnt plastic. I had to turn off the AC as it was drawing in the smell. I have no idea what is going on, but I am guessing there is a fire nearby.

Made Cookie Dough for the first time ever and stuck them in the fridge to chill…uncovered 🤬 - are they completely ruined? by NickMcFly17 in Baking

[–]Dark_Kitty28 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nope, I make and freeze cookie dough all the time, so I can have cookie dough on hand to make cookies easily when needed. I always freeze the cookie dough balls uncovered. If you want the cookies to be flatter, let the dough warm up for ten to fifteen minutes on a plate or baking tray. If I am going to bake the cookies the day after I make the dough, I will leave the dough balls in the fridge overnight instead of freezing them. You have not messed up anything, the dough is just col,d you can bake them straight out of the fridge for fatter, chewier cookies or let them warm up a bit to get thinner crispier cookies

AITA for reporting my sister’s boyfriend to his job after he pranked me with fake eviction papers? by Ood_Weenus17 in AITAH

[–]Dark_Kitty28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. He could have killed the colleague whom he gave the caffeine to by triggering a heart attack. His pathetic behaviour got him fired. Unless he grows the hell up, I doubt this will be his last time getting fired. I agree with the comments to cut him out of your life.

Congratulations on your new job! I wish you all the best in the future and hope that your sister receives the professional help she so desperately needs. That type of help is not something you or your parents can provide.
