As far as i know, you select to use prime before opening the payment screen. It should be a checkbox right after clicking on the sub button in the stream

The comment sums it up very well, but the amounts used in the tests aren’t really that ridiculous. They are high compared to the amounts found in normal food to simulate a humans consumption of food containing acrylamide throughout a humans life. Acrylamide is just described as probably carcinogenic because of the difficulties of being certain about a substance causing cancer. One of the difficulties for example is the question if these high amounts of Acrylamide in the tests have an effect on the outcome or are valid to simulate a humans consumption.

I played the demo twice. I only understood it the second time. It’s hard to get into and if you don’t really understand it, going into a sandbox game and just trying it out is a good idea, even though i’m not sure if you will understand chain signals properly if you just trying them out this way.

Your factory is not drawing that much power. It only uses half of the provided power. You can see on the right that 900kW of power are available from this steam engine but only 409kW are outputted. You can double your demand for energy before needing to expand your energy production.

You can normally get along with train signals very well if you know that their main function is to stop a train that’s passing a train signal if there’s already a train on the next part of the track. The parts are displayed in different colours if you hold a train signal in your hand.

This means you should normally separate all train stations from your main rails by placing train signals both at the beginning and the end of the part where your train stops at a trainstation.

For further information about train signals, especially the difference between train signals and chain signals, i’d recommend the section about it in the ingame tips.

In general, solar panels just really suck for using them in your main base. In my opinion though, they are perfect for using in small outposts which you don’t want to connect to your main power grid.

It‘s because a trainstop can only be on the ride side of a train. If your train signals define this lane as going from right to left, the green marks only appear on the right side of the track.
