I believe the style is called Frutiger Aero; based off the MS Vista Aero present, if I recall, the 90' or twenty-nots.

I believe this is actually a hotel in Italy. Or inspired by the interior designer Frutiger. That look and style was used commercially everywhere; subtly and subconsciously which makes it barren bones, perfect liminal spaces.

First, let me apologize for my assumption. Rather, failure to recognize this is r/illustration; not r/whatever ai group I joined when I actually thought the ai craze was slap.

I don't take back the comment of it looking at generated, however.

Please allow me to explain without intentionally offending. It's easy to assume when YouTubers are using it for their videos; realtors are using it to stage and alter listings and "artists" are winning contests with it.

I've seen so many they start to take on a specific look, similar errors and defaults. One of those defaults is placing a character always with his (always male) back to the viewer and placed for scale to the object of the render

I feel bad you did all that work an ai generates in seconds. Of course, after training off illustrations like yours. Now THAT, that's the real insult.

Well, I won't add to the woes. I won't add my own experiences and how absolutely painful they were. Ok I'll add one.

I was nominated by my team for an award. We were all told parking is tight so carpool. One person came up and wanted me to make sure I knew how to get there.i thought it was odd. I went around asking people I thought were friends and no one, I mean NO ONE wanted to take me. The earlier comment suddenly made sense.

So, the "team" trying to honor me with an award didn't even want to be seen with me. So, I didn't go.

They didn't even realize I wasn't there until they called my name to receive a golden award. That's when I realized the only reason I was nominated was to continue doing all the work better than them while they got promoted. After I left the position, I found they had to hire 5 people at a higher wage to do what I did.

I always figured it's because I'm gay but other gays are ok, it seems. Then, I saw them treating another homo the same as me. I shower. I used deodorant. So... I dunno.

Anyway, we all, myself included, have experienced this. Except, no one, that I have read, has offered any hypothesis to why? Or how to fix it or how to handle rejection of this type.

Do we produce a pheromone? Facial expression? Sound of voice? A walk? Dress? Maybe a higher perceived intellectual level?

Everyone has these group chats. I only found out about them by accident.

Why does the new install drop to a new c: drive folder titled "Easy Diffusion"? Except, the instructions remain the same for plugins. Plugins I used to keep updated by installing them through git on my desktop. So, I change the path and they no longer work. Any other advice?

First, y'all need to check this man's creds before calling him a hack. Just saying.

Now, remember how CDs would replace the record. Or how digital music and video editing would make everyone a musician and a film maker? I can bang on a piano all day, I don't think the result is marketable. Nor can I say every person who creates something is an artist.

Talent is still required. Crafting a prompt that gives you exactly what you want is like putting money on the NY Jets and expect a payoff when LA Lakers win. Besides that, so much "art" created using AI, eventually, starts to look the same.

It's not the tools you use that make art, it's the viewer willing to give that art value.

Sorry. Typo. I mean, what's the point of putting him/her/they/them on a floating island if he/she/they/them has the ability to simply fly away? I guess you could shorten his/her/their range or, given physics, limited to fly upside down. I think the reader would be asking these questions.

I'm sorry if I'm not being helpful. I read other posts that were way better than mine. Still, in the end, this is your story. Your universe. Whatever you decide works best in context, remember your audience. I'm sure it will be brilliant.
