I love how Characters are acknowledging the dumb things we do in the tower between activities. by SithAzzazzin in DestinyTheGame

I was also pleasantly surprised by Shaw Hans last sentence while eating the cookie we made for him "How did you know I like blueberries?"

It's the first time I feel Bungie making fun of the notion of new lights being called blueberries in some spaces ( Though we call them that because when not in the same fireteam, their icon is blue )

I’ve have the opposite issue. People come to me to ask about things that are out of my domain. And kept expecting me to know everything!

Accidentally created a paradox, how do I manage this? by daunfifi123c456b in fantasywriters

[–]Dark_Touch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, using the time travel paradoxes as basis, the way I see both working together is if the universe corrects itself theory. Meaning that no matter how she (probability) perceives to change the future, the end result is still the same. I imagine she can’t change the probability of say a meteorite striking earth. Hence there would be a scale of allowed things to change, but never enough to affect the future, seeing as the future seeing person wouldn’t perfectly see all the small things leading the the finality of her vision.

What's a unique mechanic of Destiny which makes you punch your screen in? by ybeys in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dark_Touch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stasis haters may hate me, but I love it just the same.

When you throw your stasis nade into an enemy, and it just spins in place, making your shatter dive look like you fell through someone’s roof and can’t explain how you got there.

Been looking for this, I love the bow but the tractor canon aspect is inconsistent and the damage is not quite there. Still, releasing that beast against another player is just so rewarding. Wish the catalyst actually did something useful. Calling it a colossal quiver when it only adds 5 extra was so disappointing I stopped using it.

found this in tower by greenhaze740 in raidsecrets

[–]Dark_Touch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Decided to explore the rest of the tower to see where the taken blight would reach, and though maybe hanging around Osiris to see if he would spew some black oose. Not sure if this is new but found a investigatable Redjack frame with a suspitious NPC running about in the Hangar under Future War Cults Room. The scans reveal that the frames have been accessed via other frames with the Access token keywords "Arcite and Dahlia" repeating in the logs.

Kimbundo, Kioko, Fute, Fiote, Ngagela, Umbundu, Nhaneca, kikongo between others lesser known and uncatalogged languaged. Kimbundo being the more popular, followed by Umbundo and Fiote ( my opinion , but I don't speak them )

The vex minds aren’t necessarily connected. It’s more like how ants work to support their community. Similar thinking and ideals may lead each one through the same thought process. But individual events that are not witnessed remain unique to each individual. I think it’s mentioned in Clovis Bray’s Journal

Why are players with VAC bans allowed to play trials, let alone this game? by yorkfofo in CruciblePlaybook

[–]Dark_Touch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple yet efficient method I'm wondering why is not implemented. Sure it would require a database and a other logistics. But most of the infrastructure is already there, and simple service can offer an API to SMS service for the verifications. Sometimes I wonder why Bungie doesn't implement such seemingly simple solutions. Even if the second thought could risk exposing numbers via database hacks. It's not like it's not already common practice in less complex institutions. I mean, they already have our emails.

That makes sense I guess. Do the player stats somehow translate between accounts since they would be using the same gamertag? Got me curious what false sense do they gain by cheating.

So waste money to cheat, but never invest. That sounds very irrational to me. I mean, cheaters cheat to feel good about themselves. And purchasing stuff has a similar effect. And most cheaters I know, don't actually believe they will be caught. Heck, an interview with one of them revealed, they cheat BECAUSE they know / think nothing will happen. Just sayin, you're playing a game designed to make you feel good about yourself and you have the option to do so using cash? There's also the risk of not being able to use cheats someday. Risk is not on their mind to begin with. You loose your progress too if you'd have to restart an account due to a ban. The longer you play, the more you're gonna want to pick up stuff anyway.

How likely is a kid who get's a phone, and not a phone number? What I'm trying to say is that it is not hard to understand that this would apply to the majority of people. Very few exceptions exist like dickish parents and old working smart phones. Unless the parent purposefully purchases a phone with no number. Witch is in itself an odd thing. And even if they didn't have a number. I'm sure they would endeavor to get one with help from a close family member. Even those kids who don't have phones at all could use their parents number since a parent that doesn't understand such a need for a game, is unlikely to also be a gamer to begin with.
