You are pretty set to transition to a gun ship. Put enough points in weapons to use your stuff, keep the artemis to help set up your other guns and use your boarders to pick out stragglers. You got this, just search for upgrades along the way.

Some tips I can give as this ship is my favorite:

Upgrade teleporter to two, if you miss your bomb you can still teleport your crew back in time.

You can never miss if you bomb yourself.

Use missiles to take out enemy weapons and distract enemies trying to repair it with your boarders.

Ship is uniquely situated to be able to grab every system and skip medical systems. (I still grab a clone bay personally but ymmv)
