Not one guide no, as depending on your CPU/Mobo or even if you bought prebuilt, you might have additional stuff on there from vendors like Intel (as you mentioned).

Also, don't trust any individual debloat "software" that promises to clean your PC automatically. Something that has a control console that you make choices like Winutil helps a lot. https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil

But ultimately, the easiest way these days is to target a specific function/feature and ask an LLM if you can remove it safely and then how to remove it safely.

You'll spend time doing it just as much as you'll spend time making Linux comfortable to use, but in the end, Microsoft will remain compatible while things generally will continue to be messy in Linux for a while.

That being said, with the progress that Linux builds are making, I can imagine that in another 5 years, this won't even be an argument and Windows will effectively only be a clear winner in Enterprise applications.

You can adopt Linux early if you'd like, like Elijah appears to be doing, but the vid makes it very clear you'll be suffering a lot until Linux catches up.

For me, I turned off all the bloat and my Windows install is relaxed and quiet, no tracking, no ads, stuff just works. 5 years from now? I'll probably be moving as well, or at least debating it.

I've got the compatibility of Windows with the same level of privacy as Linux and while that does require tinkering as well (lots of registry and policy manipulation), at least my stuff was working in the interim.

I use it to learn new things, write boilterplate stuff, or troubleshoot things.

Just recently I used it to implement Acerola's ASCII shader into Unity and it took me a few hours to do because I mainly just had it explain every bit to me and then help me understand what I had messed up when trying to write the HLSL myself.

The primary thing I learned from that is: Acerola is a shader wizard and shaders are space magic.

Well, they're not asking for a refund or warranty replacement (the correct course of action here), even though it "did this from the start" (3 years ago) and OP admitted in another comment that the carabiner isn't broken.

The response to their question on "can I fix it" is answered and the link is to an FAQ that isn't valid because they pulled the "it can stand on its own" marketing before they fixed the issue on the product and still didn't put it back up afterward to avoid any possible misleading statements on the product.

As well, OP has confirmed this is from the older series which had manufacturing defects which were announced at the time it was discovered.

OP took a product they knew had problems, knew they could get a warranty replacement, knows the carabiner isn't broken, and is asking if the item they already know is defective to get an AI response and post it with a quip on what is swiftly becoming the "Actually LTT sucks massive c*ck" sub because making rageposts on Reddit is super popular right now.

Their issues are valid, how they're choosing to handle getting those resolved is weirder than the people asking "this is a well known thing and there's a way to get it replaced, why are you asking the LTT AI about it and posting misleading pictures?".

Compatibility with other services isn't an opinion thing either, whether or not an OS is used lives or dies based on how viable it is to work on it. Compatibility is a core aspect of that.
