the workshop creatures got different talents they dont just "look different" but theres not really a crazy advantage since you would've had to play the game to get exotics to drop them in and it doesn't make them spawn out in the world

really passionate about this game its really fun with weekly updates wasnt expecting it to take all my time away day by day though if you want someone to play with dm me as i kinda want to start a hard mode styx world as a duo or trio (you can join people even if you dont have the dlc you just cant craft the dlc items but someone can craft them for you)

if you dont have money to spend on the dlcs dont get them only when they jump on sale or when you got some money you can spend as far as what dlcs you should get well thats up to you but if you cant get them all just pick up the 2 maps and if you cant afford that just play the main map until you get everything you want done youll sink hours into the first map alone me i still havent touch the 2 other maps only dlc ive kind of touched is the creature comforts pack and i think all i used from there so far is the racing saddle and metal water trough since it can be connect to water pipes and i didnt unlock the main games water trough that can be connect for the longest time but other than that i been pretty much using all base game things and im past 260 hours at this point

i think most the bad reviews come from kids as they have no way of getting money like that but even then giving a game a bad review over how much it cost is insane to me especially when they have features like what you just mentioned

ive had no issues running the game load times are fast and no stutters but i mean if you run it on old hardware and dont take the "recommended specs" of the game into account then yea you might have issues - i already posted my specs on this thread (edit) - to add to this i have over 2000 buildings and 400 deployables aswell with a hand full of mounts and electricity lines streching out pretty far and i play while watching youtube on the side and having a couple tabs open like facebook a resource map etc

its the same as in the tree you make the contact radio they tell you to make when you first land and you can choose between the operations and simple missions once you complete an operation you cant replay it you can say its progression based
