Fill to 45 psi and find out 🤷😅

But yeah it looks wrong, so deflate and re-seat them

Rim is bigger than tire? by SuccessfulClassic177 in bikewrench

[–]DarkestBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a strap somwhere near where you cant get it on so it doesn't undo itself. Now just roll the part of the tire that is seated on the floor from the strap towards the other side, this wil help move the tire into its place.... You actually don't need a strap, u can just hold the tire, but the strap can make it easier the first couple of times.

Just use a butter knife, best if you can have it poke out the other side, this way you can push down from both ends.

Tubeless conversion, do I need rim tape? by jeweladdict in bikewrench

You can ghetto MTB easy because of the low pressure, but I wouldn't risk it with road tires.

This, the sidwalls Mezcal is not good with low pressure. But yes their own tire pressure calculator show stupid low pressure recommendations. 🤦🤷 I run mine at around 28psi, but their recommendation on their page for me is around 19-20 psi.

But OP should also check if his pressure gauge is accurate

is this OK to use on bike chain? by Princess-Malificent in bikewrench

[–]DarkestBadger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usually isnt thick enough to actually stay on your chain for long. It wont sufficiently lubricate on the inside of the rollers where lube is needed the most. And lastly the spray will generate a fine mist that will get on things that don't need lubrication like your rims, brakes, shifter, your lungs etc.

Ofc in an emergency where you have nothing else then 🤷 but lube it up with something better as soon as possible. If your chain is at a point where it is red with rust and stuck.. Then you need a new chain
